Back on My Feet empowers people to overcome their struggles with homelessness and/or addiction through the power of fitness, community, and essential employment & housing resources. Changing old habits, discovering fresh perceptions of self, and transforming their futures. Operating in over 15 cities nationwide, Back on My Feet recruits members at homeless shelters and rehabilitation facilities. O

ur members begin their journey by committing to run 3 days a week and when they are ready, move on to educational support, job training programs, employment partnership referrals, and housing resources. Since 2007, Back on My Feet has served more than 5,500 individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness and engaged more than 100,000 volunteers and supporters. Our members have run a collective 500,000+ miles and obtained more than 3,500 jobs and homes. serve as lifelong support systems, removing shame and isolation. It’s about the drive, grit, and courage to take that first step toward a new life. And while it may not be an easy road, we’re there every step of the way. What a great weekend we had at Boston's Run To Remember!

We had an amazing group of 15 volunteers up early on Sunday to support Race Bib Pick-Up for both the half marathon and the 5 miler, bringing energy, encouragement, and smiles to every runner who stopped by.

We also had 6 members of our community take on the 13.1miles — showing determination, commitment, and the power of community every step of the way.

We are grateful for everyone who volunteered, ran, cheered, and supported along the way. This is what community looks like.

Thank you to Boston's Run To Remember for allowing us to join you for this amazing event. We are already looking forward to next year!

BOMF had a great day at the Boston Bulldogs Running Club Run for Recovery 5K.

Our Back on My Feet crew showed up with heart, energy, and community spirit, and we're especially proud of all the first-time 5K participants who crossed the finish line today.

Events like this remind us that recovery, connection, and movement truly change lives.

Thank you to the Boston Bulldogs for creating such a meaningful space where everyone is welcomed, celebrated, and supported. We had an amazing time and are grateful to be part of this incredible community.
