Addressing energy affordability is crucial—and cutting the very programs that create permanent bill savings is counterproductive.

EEA-NJ agrees w/ American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE)—addressing New Jersey's energy affordability crisis is crucial, but requires investing *more*, not *less* in energy efficiency programs. EE programs create permanent, cost-cutting building improvements that last long after ratepayer relief funds and other temporary solutions end. We urge Governor Mikie Sherrill to protect EE program funding.
