"Wanted to let you know, I am hoping and praying you get your ranch back.
I was volunteering at LCR but recently decided it was too much heartache. I've never seen so many horses die in the short time I've been there. I've been working with and owned horses since 2012.

This winter they even had us shoveling the shale out of the dry lots because they thought it was causing the widespread colic. I pointed out that Jim the feed guy had been discussing a bad batch of purina senior that had mold in the area lately. Suddenly we weren't shoveling shale anymore. Personal opinion, I don't think their vet is very swift or they are not seeking vetcare like they say.

I suppose the icing on the cake that made me reconsider volunteering was the volunteer dinner! They said it was free however a guest (spouse,kids etc) must pay $35. When we got there it was a catering hall and the prices posted were $15/per person for that same dinner. Then during the dinner they applauded some law firm that had donated to "cover our dinners". Between that and asking volunteers to donate gift baskets to raffle off to themselves.... seems a bit like a fundraiser the volunteers are funding. All the events they have seem this way!

At any rate. Your land is yours!!! No one should be able to take it away. I hope you find encouragement from this! I was the volunteer that waved at you a few months ago. We were told we couldn't speak to you."

In their ongoing effort to silence me and thwart my efforts to reclaim what is mine, Last Chance Ranch is now attempting to claim that a drawing that I made in high school, and is literally tattooed on my body, as their own and are threatening me with legal action should I use my own art. They have also threatened me with legal action should I speak to people! This is money that donors have given to save animals, being used for lawyers! Do you think that donors intended that usage?i
