Around the world and here in North Carolina, women and girls face barriers that stifle their potential and limit their dreams. Our mission is to provide them with the education, advocacy, and support they need to overcome these hurdles.

SIWF recently had an AMAZING planning meeting! We are excited about some upcoming plans to grow our club and continue to do great things in the community!

Our AMAZING Soroptimist club has had a great few months with wonderful accomplishments! Each year as a club we make a special donation of food items to the local food bank in Wake Forest prior to Thanksgiving. This year we donated:

150 cans of vegetables
50 boxes of rice and pasta
25 boxes of stuffing
25 cans of chicken noodle soup
25 cans of ravioli
25 cans of spaghetti sauce

We also have had the honor again this year of hosting a family In need for christmas, purchasing wish list items!

Our Double Good Popcorn sale was a success and we were able to raise funds for our programs and grants to support women and girls in our community!

Our Soroptimist club is excited about all the great things we have done and we are looking forward to all of the amazing things we will do in the new year!

Soroptimist International of Wake Forest, NC is hosting our annual “Let's Get It Poppin" Popcorn FUNdraiser. The popcorn is absolutely delicious and proceeds will go towards our Live Your Dream and Dream It, Be It programs, which are both geared towards helping women and girls thrive in our communities through education, leadership, and service. What an AMAZING time we had at the Central East Coast Region Spring Conference in Ocean City, MD last weekend! The theme: Let’s Dream it, Let’s Live it, Let’s Achieve it! From the meaningful, thought provoking discussions to celebrating 1920’s style, it was a phenomenal weekend indeed!
