Beautiful Aruba rescue Daisy is in Florida living with her foster/trainer. This stunning sweetheart with golden eyes is now 2 years & 10 months old, up-to-date on vaccinations, sterilized, and microchipped. Her foster/trainer says that Daisy is such sweet and friendly girl who loves attention. She is a sweetheart who deserves a loving home with someone who will focus on her. She received professional training to work on her confidence, and she did well. Daisy enjoys playing outside, and plays well with other dogs. She walks well leashed, and is crate trained. Daisy is very sweet, playful, and gentle, and she is ready for her forever home.

Friendly and social Duke is still in Florida, and is now 2 years & 10 months old. He is up-to-date with vaccinations, sterilized, has preventative meds for fleas & ticks, and is microchipped. Duke’s foster/trainer says that as he received professional training, he trained well. Duke is very confident. He has a strong work drive with a calm and stable temperament. He is amazing with commands and leash walking, and he is crate trained. Duke is meant to “work” all day, and would be a good service dog because of his strong build and energy level. He is a quick learner, and responds really well to positive reinforcement. He enjoys a good play date, and gets very silly when he is ready play. He plays well with other dogs. Duke is good with other people, and is very happy and friendly. Duke is a very sweet cuddler.

A rehoming and the best love story ever!

Sometimes the first home isn’t always the right home. Sadie was adopted from ARF-Aruba in 2017, and her family recently surrendered her back to us. Some wonderful animal advocates, Gina and Bess, stepped up to the plate. They picked her up from the home where she was no longer welcome, found a foster for her immediately, and that foster family chose to give Sadie the forever home she deserves. Joe and Wanda offered a wonderful home to 9 year old Sadie, and she is doing beautifully today. Wanda says that Sadie is such a sweet girl, and grateful that the family actually contacted ARF-Aruba when they no longer felt they could give her a home. Wanda added that Sadie is a timid little lady, and has settled into their home nicely. Sadie is now clearly a part of their family. She is doing great, and loves the new lamb chop that Wanda and Joe got her. Wanda said that Sadie’s true personality is coming out, and she is so easy to love. She loves walks on the beach, and enjoys ice cream! We are so thankful for all the help from Bess and Gina to make the new home happen for Sadie with Wanda and Joe. We are grateful for all the love that they show Sadie every day, and offer her the best home ever for the rest of her life. Sadie is a lucky girl!

"Showing gratitude is one of the simplest yet most powerful things humans can do for each other."

We received 102 mini paws and 12 mini bones from artistic Omar in Aruba. He also makes large paws for stepping stones. They are made from a substance similar to a resin. We thank Omar for these wonderful little goodies that we can share with transporters and volunteers.
