Commonwealth Youth Choir (formerly Keystone State Boychoir and Pennsylvania Girlchoir) celebrate their final concert of the season, including a world premiere by Nina Shekhar. Don't miss this last chance to see C*C! Sunday, 3:00pm, Temple Performing Arts Center.

Please join us for Commonwealth Youth Choir's spring concert, "In Bloom," featuring the world premiere of Nina Shekar's piece of the same title, exploring where we are now and looking forward to who we will someday become. This culmination of the 2024-2025 season is not to be missed!

A beautiful send-off to Pennsylvania Girlchoir Seniors! PG’s Motet Recital brought down the house, with younger singers giving moving tributes to graduating seniors. 🎶🎵🎶

CY’s Young Singers’ Sharing was a lively celebration of song and showcased a year of musical growth among our young singers. We were so honored to have composer Suzzette Ortiz (we sang 2 of her original pieces!) and percussionist Donna Bostock with us as well! 🎶

PG's 20th anniversary celebration and spring concert was such a special event... complete with music from our 20 years, alumni, former conductors ( & Mark Anderson) and staff, memories and, of course, singing together. 🎶💙 We also celebrated the premiere of "Living Things" composed by Grammy-nominated Ayanna Woods in collaboration with Pennsylvania Girlchoir singers.

TODAY’S the DAY!! 20th Anniversary Concerts promise a magical day of joyous singing, including the World Premiere of Grammy-nominated Ayanna Woods’ Living Things, beautiful performances from youngest to oldest singers, a Mom and Mother-Figures Choir, and former PG Music Directors and alumni returning to sing “best of” selections including “Grow Little Tree,” “Faith is the Bird,” “Lift Thine Eyes,” and “I Love You/What a Wonderful World.” Happy 20th Anniversary, Pennsylvania Girlchoir!
