had the privilege of co-facilitating Can We Talk, a student-to-student dialog about mental health for college students at Drexel University’s Lindy Center.

The Fathering Circle in partnership with The McClain Foundation, hosted our end-of-year Fathers and Family Fun Day at Clementon Park and Splash World with over 30 families this year.
The weather was beautiful, the youth were happy and everyone had a great time.

Major shout-out to my sista, of for partnering with The Fathering Circle for a presentation to the men of ODAAT South.

We led them through a discussion on self-care and fostering well-being in their lives and then treated them to a hands-on tea blending ceremony where they got to make their own custom tea bags.

Supporting men in the process of loving and healing themselves and caring for their inner child is its own reward. Seeing these men lean into what could be a difficult conversation for many, makes my heart overflow with joy. The look of appreciation and joy is what is all about.

Thank you Father's Day Rally Committee for selecting me as one of this year's recipients of the Gerald Wright Essence of A Father Award.

I can't begin to express what an enormous honor this is. For nearly 30 years I have serving and supporting fathers and families through other organizations like the Father's Day Rally Committee, Frontline Dads, Daddy University, Focus on Fathers and more. To receive this award this year after the toughest test of my life as a father feels like a major victory. To be recognized by your peers and elders after a year of battles across every area of life feels affirming and liberating. Most importantly, to receive this award on the day of my mother's 84th birthday and have her there to celebrate with me and my oldest son, Eric Jr was the greatest gift of all.
