🎾 That's a wrap on an incredible Red Ball Tennis season!

A huge THANK YOU to all of the players, parents, families, coaches, and volunteers who made this season so special. Watching these young athletes learn, grow, build confidence, and fall in love with the game is what it's all about.

We're especially grateful to our partners at the USTA Middle States and Philadelphia Parks and Recreation for their continued support and commitment to growing tennis and creating opportunities for young players in our community.

To every child who picked up a racquet, every family who cheered from the sidelines, and everyone who helped make this season possible — thank you for being part of the journey.

We can't wait to see you back on the courts soon! 🎾💙

🧡
June is National Gun Violence Awareness Month.

At the Philadelphia Youth Sports Collaborative, we believe youth sports can be a powerful part of the solution.

Over the past year, PYSC has been working alongside community leaders, youth-serving organizations, coaches, and stakeholders through the Play It Safe Task Force to explore how sports can help prevent violence, create safe spaces for young people, strengthen community connections, and provide pathways to opportunity.

While sports alone cannot solve the challenges facing our city, they can play an important role in keeping young people engaged, connected, and supported.

This month, we stand with communities across Philadelphia in raising awareness, honoring those impacted by gun violence, and continuing the work to build safer neighborhoods for all.
