Yesterday I had the distinct pleasure of attending a private screening of a documentary celebrating 25 years of cultural celebration at The Rotunda. There are some powers that are afraid of the beautifully-inclusive story it tells. See it as a threat to the financially-comfortable and “inoffensive” position the University currently enjoys. We cannot allow that to stand, so stay tuned for more info about how Soul Sanctuary will step in to help this film get its rightful shine and in front of its intended audiences.

Grand opening, grand closing, indeed! So glad that I chose to be present for the farewell tour stop in Philly. My knees are not meant for hours standing on concrete anymore, but a great time was had. And the stage lighting had all the brothers looking like superheroes!

Congregation, seeing my Soror light up the stage last night was EXACTLY what my spirit needed! Even better that I got to promote her talents to people in the crowd who had never heard of her, but left that show as FANS!!! Nothing like seeing a mixed crowd jamming to liberation music!
