There will be a board of directors meeting tonight at the nursery open to any paying member that has interest in possibly becoming a board member. Meeting time is around 7-7:30

Hello everyone after consideration here at our emergency meeting we have unanimously decided to indeed cancel the kiddie derby we will pick this up again next year. We are sorry to those that were looking forward to this event. If you were one of the people that had pre registered please get in touch with us to have your donation for entry refunded.

I would like to ask this question just to get a feel for opinions out in the general public. What are everyone's thoughts on bringing back the adult derby to the StonyCreek? This is a serious question and need to be able to show what the public as well as members have to say on this subject. Please leave comments not likes. Likes don't tell me anything!

Hey everyone I am going to call a special meeting this Sunday to discuss rescheduling of the kiddie derby. The meeting is open to the public but if you want to vote on the matter you must be a member of the club. I will accept new memberships prior to the meeting. I will make meeting time 1 o'clock in the afternoon I will be at the nursery at noon to accommodate new members before the meeting.

Good morning everyone! We have some sad news to relay this morning. At last night's meeting it was decided that we cancel next weekends kiddie derby due to low participation. To the 6 people that had already signed up to participate and made your donation please stop by the nursery and see Chas and we will refund your money. We are all still in shock that nobody was signing up for this event. We hope to try again next year to do this for the kids. It was a hard decision to make because none of us want to disappoint the kids but not enough parents signed their kids up for us to justify all the work involved.

Good morning everyone! We will be holding our general meeting tonight at our nursery. We have alot to discuss and some new ideas for fundraising to go over. We welcome new innovative ideas from everyone and We would like to hear your opinions and ideas to help grow this club and move it toward the future. One thing that needs to addressed is we have about 103 signed members I only see the same dozen guys at our meetings and we would like that to change. We absolutely need butts in seats and members willing to help. We don't want to make volunteering for the club mandatory as part of your memberships but this could happen in the future if more of you dont get involved. We also need people to step up for board of director seats as alot sit vacant and 1 more to be vacated by Chas at the end of this month. Please help us out We don't want to see the demise of this club and our nursery. Without active board members and members volunteering we could be seeing this club dissappear and we will do all we can to stop that from happening. So please MAKE TIME TO COME TO TONIGHTS MEETING! Start time is 7:30 sharp!

Incase you missed the live video we wanted to say thank you to all of the volunteers, our club members and our friends from WCA for helping to make our derby a success. Also big thanks goes out to all the parents that came and brought their kids out it is greatly appreciated also everyone that gave donations on top of the derby entry donations thank you so much your generosity will not be forgotten. Remember we have our 3 to 6 year old derby coming next month. Try to pre register your kids so you get to choose your preferred time slot. To reserve your time slot please give either myself or Chas a call. Thanks again everyone for the great weekend. To all of you I saw going down to the crick after we wrapped up for the day good luck and tight lines. There are plenty of fish left over because of everyone practicing catch and release it was great to see that everyone considered the next people behind them. Stay tuned for more event postings coming soon.
