If you live, work, or travel within Moorestown, please take a moment to complete this street and sidewalk safety survey.

The more data we can collect from the public, the more support we can garner for improving the environment for pedestrians and cyclists.

Thank you everyone.

Anyone who lives, works or travels through Moorestown is encouraged to complete the survey by May 24.

Great news! Moorestown has formed an official Cyclist, Pedestrian, and Traffic Safety Task force. Thank you very much to Deputy Mayor Quinton Law for supporting the creation of this task force.

Hopefully this is the beginning of some great strides in pedestrian and cyclist safety here in Moorestown.

Happy holidays everyone. I just wanted to send out an end of year update on our initial progress. We have had meetings with Town Council leadership and we are working with representatives at Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia to help navigate grant application and funding opportunities.

We are laying the groundwork to make some great progress in 2024. If you all know anyone else who is interested in improving the pedestrian and bicycle network infrastructure throughout Moorestown, share this page with them, and like/follow the page to get updates from us.

Let’s make 2024 the year that our township starts putting pedestrian and bicycle safety ahead of automobile speed and convenience. Let’s give our kids and our families the ability to travel anywhere and safely cross any street in Moorestown by foot and bike.

Happy New Year!

We hope everyone has a safe Thanksgiving!

We’ll be attending a presentation at REI Co-op Thursday, 12/7 at 6:00PM for presentations on the state of on-road safety and trail development in NJ and how to get involved. Hopefully we’ll get some new info to help us make Moorestown’s streets safer for pedestrians and cyclists.

We are starting the research to achieve our first goal of repairing the existing path network that we have. We’ll also be reaching to see what they think the best avenue for funding would be.

Stay tuned!

Our introduction to town Council went well! Our goals were well received. Thank you Deputy Mayor Quinton Law for the encouragement!

Join us at 7pm tonight at Moorestown Town Council Meeting to start the conversation with the town on fixing our multi-use path network and upgrading our crossing infrastructure, to make it safe for kids (and everyone) to safely travel this township by foot and bicycle.

Our multi-use paths are literally crumbling beneath our feet, and nature is taking them back in many places. Let’s start by getting public works to add maintaining these paths to their schedule. Without these paths, walking and biking in huge sections of the township becomes completely impossible.

This is what every single intersection on Route 38 should look like. Why not make it safe for everyone to use the road?
