Now accepting applications: American University Women & Politics Institute - WeLead2024
The WeLead Program is geared toward professional women who are interested in running for office or running a campaign - and to anyone who is interested in helping elect more women to political office. Our typical age range is 25-35 as we require some current professional work experience. The program consists of six weekend all-day training sessions which are held at American University in Northwest Washington, D.C. There may be other, optional networking and social opportunities but ATTENDANCE IS REQUIRED AT ALL SIX SESSIONS to remain in good standing and to graduate from the program.

The application deadline is midnight on 7/1/2023. Notifications will be emailed no later than 7/31/2023. Your two letters of recommendation should be on letterhead with a date, and have contact information for the recommender. You be will redirected to a secure payment site after you submit your application to pay a non-refundable $50 processing fee.
The We Lead training program is open to all post-graduates, regardless of race, color, gender, or national origin.
