The volunteers at CarePoint Clinic Snoqualmie Valley really bring it!

Thank you to our amazing volunteers who organized and planned a fantastic art booth for the SnoValley Pride Picnic yesterday in Carnation. There were tons of creative buttons made and we hope to see them worn by everyone all over the valley! If you didn't have a chance to stop by the booth, let us know- I'm sure we can get you your own button to show your support that Everyone Deserves Healthcare! Thank you to SnoValley Pride for hosting a beautiful event for the entire community to come together!

Way to go, Health and Hope Medical Outreach, for providing free healthcare to the people of Lewis County and beyond.

What is the value of a free clinic?

A routine medical visit with a Physician Assistant can cost nearly $300 out of pocket. At Health & Hope Medical Outreach, that same visit is provided at no cost to the patient.

Our clinic focuses on preventive care and non-emergency medical needs, helping patients address health concerns before they become costly emergencies. Studies suggest that many emergency department visits could be treated in a primary care setting, creating unnecessary strain on already overburdened emergency rooms.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors and volunteers, Health & Hope Medical Outreach provides care for less than $60 per patient visit. That means every dollar donated goes a long way toward improving health outcomes, reducing barriers to care, and keeping our community healthier.

High-value care. Low operating costs. No charge to the patient.

Together, we're making healthcare accessible for those who need it most.

Healthcare volunteers are the backbone of Washington's free clinics. Thank you to Suzanne at The Sequim Free Clinic - DVHWC for getting involved.

Volunteer Spotlight: Suzanne Plemmons, RN 💙

Suzanne Plemmons has been volunteering with the clinic for about a year, bringing her skills and compassion as a registered nurse to serve members of our community. After moving to Sequim, Suzanne was looking for a meaningful way to give back and found that opportunity at the clinic.

What Suzanne enjoys most is the connection she has built with the staff, fellow volunteers, and patients. She has been especially impressed by the many community organizations and referral resources that partner with the clinic to help meet patients’ needs. Through her volunteer experience, Suzanne says she has become even more compassionate and thankful for the blessings in her own life.

It’s the people she works with and the patients she serves that keep her coming back. Looking ahead, Suzanne hopes the clinic will continue to provide services in the remarkable way it has for the past 25 years, ensuring that compassionate, quality care remains available to those who need it most. 💙

91 and still volunteering at Safe Harbor Free Clinic! Hats off to Andy.

Meet Andy, Safe Harbor Free Clinic's oldest volunteer. Andy has a birthday in a couple of weeks and will be turning 91 years young! We're grateful for Andy, who helps keep our dispensary cleared of expired medications, and his wife, Pauline, who volunteers in our Podiatry clinic. They have volunteered with us for 15 years!

They're proof that you're never too old to be useful in life.
