Quilts for Kids - WV Quilting Angels Chapter Terri Bulford has just recently started the WV Quilting Angels Chapter for Quilts for Kids.

MISSION STATEMENT: Transforming discontinued, unwanted and other fabrics into patchwork quilts that comfort children with life-threatening illnesses and children of abuse. We are a not for profit organization that simply provides comfort to children by the means of a loving warm quilt. If you would like to donate money, fabric, or even quilting time please feel free to contact either Terri Bulfrod

Hey Everyone

My mom and I put together quilts for kids that are sick, in the hospital or just in a messy situation to help them get through the hard times.

I am looking for someone that enjoys sewing and quilting that would love to give their time to finish our quilts. I need someone or a group that would be interested in quilting and finish binding them for me.

We would be providing the fabric, batting and thread if you know of anyone that would love to donate their time for free. Please let me know.

I am so excited for our chapter!! I have been sewing with a group of online ladies across the world that we started making blocks for Quilts of Valor and then we thought well maybe we can sew for for other Charities that are in need. So we came up with another group called Quilts of Comfort. So Quilts for Kinds WV Quilting Angels were picked as on of the Charities to make quilt blocks for. I want to say thank to all the wonderful sewers of the group that are helping us make little kids day a little brighter. I will post pics as soon as we get the quilted. Thanks so much!!!

Hello, I just want everyone to know in the month of October we have given away 8 quilts. 1 to a drug addicted infant, 3 children who were in a homeless situation, & 4 to children with Cancer. So if you can sew and/or quilt, please contact me. It is such a blessing to make a quilt & know that you have given a small child a little comfort. God Bless You , Terri
