Philadelphia Dramatists Center - PDC Playwrights' Happy Hour

Philadelphia Dramatists Center - PDC Playwrights' Happy Hour Playwrights' Happy Hour: Playwright's workshop. Free to all interested, but only member playwrights have their pages read.

Every 2nd & 4th Monday of the month, join PDC members and newcomers -- for a playwriting workshop online via Zoom during the pandemic and at Fergie's Pub (with b**r and snacks!) in the pre and post pandemic world. At 6:30pm we start with a half hour social, and then we workshop from 7pm to 9pm. PDC happy hour was founded by local playwrights Bruce Walsh and Greg Nanni. Happy Hour is now moderated by David Hodges with co-moderators-in-training Stacey Kaiser Tomaschik & Donna Stuccio. During the happy hour each writer is given 45 minutes to workshop raw material in a friendly and encouraging environment. From time to time, industry professionals will be invited to lead discussions on various aspects of non-profit theater. To sign up or receive further information, please e-mail the PDC at [email protected] ATTN: Happy Hour

Newcomers are welcome to come to 3 meetings and try out the workshop-- after that point, we will ask that you become a member of the PDC. Actors, Dramaturgs, Directors, Producers, and other production related folks are welcome to join us in both the workshop and the pitchers of b**r!
