🌟 Meet Tami Hughes, a 2026 ACE-ENR Outstanding Mentor with the ACE Mentor Program Rhode Island! 🏗️

For more than six years, Tami has guided Rhode Island’s national competition student group, creating hands-on experiences that challenge students to think critically, collaborate effectively, and tackle real-world AEC projects. Her leadership on the Curriculum Committee and across the ACE Rhode Island Board has helped shape meaningful opportunities for students throughout the program.

Former ACE mentee Lily Gucfa shared, “Even nearly two years into my career, I continue to see myself as a student under her guidance.”

🌟 Meet Octavio Gutierrez, AIA, NOMA Assoc., DBIA, a 2026 ACE-ENR Outstanding Mentor with the ACE Mentor Program of Oregon! 🏗️

For eight years, Octavio has dedicated his time to mentoring students, leading mentor teams, and strengthening the Portland affiliate through board leadership and alumni support initiatives like the Transformative Partner Program (TPP). His guidance continues to help students and mentors grow with confidence and purpose.

Former ACE student Rachel Perez shared, “Having you in my corner allowed me to move with confidence, voice my ideas, and work hard.”

🌟 Meet Monique Brown, RA, NOMA, LEED AP, a 2026 ACE-ENR Outstanding Mentor with the ACE Mentor Program of Northeast Florida! 🏗️

A dedicated mentor and advocate for equity in the design profession, Monique brings intention, care, and real-world insight to every ACE session. Over five years of service, she has supported students, strengthened mentors, and helped elevate the Northeast Florida affiliate through leadership, mentorship, and program involvement.

ACE student and Project Pipeline participant Sophia Diaz shared, “Her impact goes far beyond the program and inspired me to return as a mentor myself.”

🌟 Meet Kingsley Jewitt, a 2026 ACE-ENR Outstanding Mentor from the ACE Mentor Program of Central Iowa! 🏗️

First introduced to ACE in 2010 as a student at Des Moines Hoover High School, Kingsley’s early exposure to architecture, construction, and engineering careers helped shape his professional path. He returned to the program in 2018 as a mentor, bringing a firsthand understanding of how ACE can open doors for students who may not otherwise see themselves in the industry.

ACE student Sirina Reed shared, “Kingsley’s organization, enthusiasm, and genuine care for students sets the tone for every session and motivates both students and mentors to bring their best each week.”

🌟 Meet Holly Ganser, P.E., a 2026 ACE-ENR Outstanding Mentor and Civil Engineering Discipline Lead at the Monday Wentworth Institute of Technology site with ACE Mentor Boston! 🏗️

A committed mentor since 2016, Holly has remained actively engaged with ACE for nearly a decade, consistently guiding students through every phase of the program with care and expertise.
