Alien Visitation (1983) — 3 × 4 ft
Zac Fae
A luminous sphere emerges from the center—suggesting a third eye, a portal, or a descending consciousness. Surrounding forms remain fluid, as if reorganizing around the encounter, equilibrating to new awareness.
Contact is not with beings from elsewhere, but with deeper strata of our own consciousness. Consciousness is fundamental; all arises from this underlying field.
Here, contact is awakening.
The boundary between self and awareness softens.
The veil thins.
The painting invites us into a mystery beyond physical separation—where what we call “other” may be forms of intelligence not yet understood, or not yet integrated.
Reality appears in layers:
the visible world,
the symbolic—where form seeks meaning,
and a deeper field of pure awareness and light.
These layers are not sequential.
They unfold simultaneously.
What is often called disclosure may not be information, but transformation—a shift in perception. When humanity is ready, it will not be told. It will recognize.
The interaction between human and greater intelligence is not a gentle gift. It is catalytic. Higher awareness can dissolve identity, certainty, and control.
This moment echoes the ancient myth of Prometheus—who brought fire to humanity, not merely as a tool, but as awakening. What was once given as flame may now return as awareness, illuminating deeper layers of mind.
Humanity is in the process of becoming—
and the chaos we witness may be part of that unfolding.
What we call “other”
may simply be consciousness
encountering itself
at a deeper level. We are not meeting the unknown—
we are remembering it.
