Methacton High School welcomed incoming students to "Destination High School," intended to help incoming students preview the building, ease first-day anxiety, and build confidence in their new environment. They met school counselors, got an overview of clubs, sports, and activities, took guided tours, and got some of their questions answered.

Real-world experience makes all the difference!
Rebecca Strauss is spending her summer on co-op with JR Maxwell Builders, gaining valuable hands-on experience, building new skills, and getting a firsthand look at the construction industry. Judging by that smile, she's having an incredible summer while preparing for her senior year at MBIT!
A huge thank you to and all of our co-op employer partners for investing in the next generation of skilled professionals. Your mentorship, guidance, and commitment to providing meaningful workplace experiences help our students build confidence, develop career-ready skills, and explore their futures in ways that simply can't be taught in a classroom.
We're proud of you, Rebecca, and grateful for the incredible opportunities our industry partners provide every day!

The Montgomery County Intermediate Unit's Transition Team held its 2nd Annual End of Year Graduation Celebration last month, honoring students as they cross the bridge into adult life.

Families, local education agency partners, and MCIU staff came together to reflect on the students’ journeys and recognize the accomplishments of this incredible group.

Whether in the classroom, training labs, or community job sites throughout Montgomery County, these students grew in skills, confidence, and independence.

Congratulations!
