Solidarity is key when power is stacked against all of us.

We may have a rare win under our belt right now, but many of our friends and comrades doing incredible work across Chicago and the country have been denied their permits.

This won’t stop them of course, but they can use all the support they can get! If you’re following our work, please keep these community powered organizations and coalitions in your rotation as well! ‘’Nobody’s free until everybody’s free.” Cheri Honkala chimes in below:

“We don’t always win legal battles; we win with people’s power and our feet, marching peacefully with or without a permit,” said Cheri Honkala, national spokesperson for Poor People’s Army. “But we’ll take this legal victory and march straight to the front doors of the DNC. Since we may be the only group given access and proximity to the DNC like this, we welcome other groups and coalitions to join us and make this the biggest march of poor and working people the Democrats have ever seen.”

Another year in the books for the Poor People’s Army.

We were honored to meet so many young revolutionaries organizing and working hard across the country and made wonderful new comrades in the process! 2024 is a year for momentum. 2024 is the year we unite across the poor and working class and organize to build a better world. 2024 is the year we march on the Democratic National Convention and Republican National Convention to let the ruling classes know…WE’RE THE FIRST, OG POOR PEOPLE’S ARMY AND WE’RE THE BOTTOM COMING FOR THE TOP ✊
