Good morning. We have not been active for a little while but now we are back and better than ever. We would like to introduce a new group we are now a part of.
GEL short for Guardian Empowerment League, we are a group of parents/guardians who support other families as they journey through and complete Diversion programs provided by The Philadelphia District Attorneys Office Juvenile Diversion Unit. GEL would like to offer our services/support to all who are interested without any limits if your family would like our support or information please reach out to us our Guardian Empowerment League is not just a short group we are the what's next after Diversion is completed.

I live in a community where YN are present but what I am learning but always knew is they are being supported and encouraged by older individuals. The way I see it is if you can influence a child to kill or be killed try influencing and encouraging them to survive and succeed. It is very easy to get and use a gun challenge y'all selves get an education and use it to prosper. Organizations and programs won't work until parents and other family support come into play IT TAKES A VILLAGE TO RAISE A CHILD NOT A JUVENILE SYSTEM. These organizations and programs need to consist of things that demand the involvement of ALL family members and do more to show support to the parents of the at risk youth.

Summer is here and school is officially out, summer camp is expensive, and some are not interested so we came up with some ideas that can beat the heat, keep youth safe, and busy while learning some life skills and job training. We are a small organization with a limited amount of space, we have an open door policy in place where all are welcome so feel free to check us out by contacting the Founder and we will do all that we can to help this summer be as productive, safe, and as fun as possible.

Good afternoon. My organization is attempting to reach our youth and redirect some of this negativity out here this summer. The males and females are being offered an opportunity to earn a little cash and contribute to keeping the community safe and clean. We see our babies walk around with nothing to do every day so we are going to give them something to do and they will benefit financially, educationally, professionally, and personally. We don't have gimmicks. We aim to make a difference.

We as people/adults have to bring some old school back. Yesterday was sad ONLY because the true meanings of these holidays have been destroyed and the young are the ones it affects the most. Life is full of lessons and we must be the Teachers God intended us to be and I also feel as parents we need to have more say so when it comes to how the Philadelphia School District is shaping our students.

We are trying to show our community how to reach out to one another and trust each other. The times may have changed however the same morals, values, and respect is here to stay. We would like to reach out to the adults so we can help our children. It is sad how the shooting ate still at an all time high. I feel a moral obligation to help create a system that will help our youth and their families succeed.

I love my life and I love everything about my life. Being a Block Captain is great my community respects and appreciates me so I decided to accept the responsibility of becoming a Block Ambassador which I plan on serving my community to the absolute best of my ability and now I adopted my block/community because I loving supporting, encouraging, and leading. The labels don't define me I have performed these duties long before I earned these titles however I am proud to serve my community 💪🏾💪🏾💯💯❤️❤️
