💛 WHEN TREATMENT TAKES AWAY SO MANY CHOICES, GIVE THE SMALL ONES BACK.

During treatment, children are often told where to go, what to do, and when something must happen. Giving them small, safe choices can help restore a little comfort, confidence, and control.

Try offering two manageable options:

💛 Which pajamas or shirt would you like to wear?
💛 Would you rather bring your blanket or stuffed animal?
💛 Would you like to read, color, or listen to music?
💛 Would you like to ask the care team your question, or would you like me to ask it?

These choices may seem small, but having a voice can matter when so much feels beyond a child’s control. Always follow the care team’s instructions and make sure every choice is age- and medically appropriate.

The Monday Message is this: Sometimes the fresh start you’re looking for is already inside your front door, and sometimes, it’s already inside of you.
We all have things we’ve put off. We all get tired, discouraged, overwhelmed, and sometimes disappointed with where we are. We all make mistakes and choices we may wish we could change. The beauty of life is that we don't have to stay there. Every new day gives us another opportunity to learn, grow, clean up what we can, and start fresh.

We all deserve a do-over. We all deserve an opportunity to rearrange some things, not just in our homes, but in our lives. Maybe this week you move the furniture around. Put some fresh flowers by the window. Open the curtains and let the sunshine in. Or maybe the thing that needs refreshing isn’t your house at all. Maybe it’s your mindset, your priorities, your relationships, or simply the way you’ve been treating yourself.

Whatever it is, you don’t always have to throw everything away and start over somewhere else. Sometimes you just need to refresh the space, refresh your spirit, and give what you already have, and who you already are, a fresh start.

The Monday Morning Message is this: Help Remove Barriers and Become the Reason Someone Gets Through Today. Barriers prevent progress. Whenever we have the opportunity to remove a barrier for someone else, we should. Sometimes the greatest act of kindness isn't solving someone's problem, it's simply helping them find the path to the solution.

When your child is facing cancer, it’s easy to think you’ll always remember the little moments. But over time, the details begin to fade.

The Monday Message is this: Giving isn't measured by how much we have. It's measured by how many lives are better because we showed up. So keep showing up, for those who are afraid to ask for help, too ashamed to reach out, too weary to keep fighting, too weak to stand alone, and for those who simply need someone to believe in them.

Keep choosing compassion. Keep serving. Keep caring for humanity, not because it's easy, not because you'll be recognized, but because it's the right thing to do.
Someone's miracle may begin with your willingness to show up.

Thank you to everyone who showed up to help make this incredible day possible. This was more than an expo, it was hope in action. And remember... this is only the beginning.
