How to Talk to Your Child About Their ADHD
Tuesday, Oct 7, 7:00 – 8:30pm

The way you talk to your child now about their ADHD will influence how your child sees themself for the rest of their life. Explaining ADHD to your child empowers them with self-awareness, fosters self-advocacy, and reduces feelings of shame or blame, helping them understand it's a difference, not a defect.
Dr. Alli Williams and Dr. Cami Winkelspecht will be speaking on How to Talk with Your Child About Their ADHD. They will discuss language you can use to have positive, age-appropriate conversations.
Dr. Alli Williams (Head of the Pilot School) and Dr. Cami Winkelspecht (Child Clinical Psychologist and owner of Child Psychology Solutions, LLC) have years of experience and expertise working with children, teens, parents and educators around ADHD education and support and look forward to bringing this support to the BuxMont CHADD community.
