Little Theater Workshop is thrilled to announce that we have been awarded a grant from the Bucks County Foundation La Mel Garden Fund in support of our summer production of Romeo and Juliet.

The production will be presented July 31 through August 2 at the historic Pearl S. Buck House. This venue is especially meaningful. Pearl S. Buck was a strong supporter of the arts, particularly theatre, and believed deeply in the power of storytelling to build empathy, understanding, and connection.

This grant helps make the production possible while advancing our mission to create accessible, high-quality classical theatre for the community. In addition to live performances, the project will include educational and community engagement elements that extend the impact beyond the stage.

We are deeply grateful to the Bucks County Foundation and the La Mel Garden Fund for their investment in local arts and culture, and to the Pearl S. Buck House for partnering with us on this special production. More details about performances and opportunities to get involved will be shared soon!

Our Story

The Little Theater Workshop was founded by Lynn Mullin in 2019. It is built upon the idea that quality arts programming for youth builds creative thinking, character, and confidence. And on top of all of that, it's FUN! Originally from Minnesota, Lynn is a teaching artist with a background in acting, directing, producing, creative writing, and vocal performance. For over ten years, she has taught with a variety of organizations around the country (and in India!) and completed her MA in Theatre Education and Community at Emerson College in Boston. She enjoys working with students of all ages, and specializes in using drama instruction to build literacy skills, self confidence, and empathy. The Little Theater Workshop is just in its first stage of growth at the moment. But we have dreams for a permanent live theater fixture in Perkasie. Find out more about Our Dream!

We believe that the arts are a powerful way to grow as individuals and as a community. In light of this, we actively seek ways to make all aspects of our classes and productions accessible for everybody, regardless of income or ability. Learn more about these efforts in our Sliding Scale FAQs.
