Due to unforeseen circumstances that came to our attention today, the 7th Annual Royal Generation Community Baby Shower scheduled for May 16, 2026 will need to be POSTPONED.

We know how much this event means to so many, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Serving our families with excellence has always been at the heart of this work, and this decision allows us to uphold that standard. Please know this was not made lightly.

We are actively working to secure a new date and will share updated details as soon as they are confirmed.

Had such and amazing time at Coco Life’s and Community Heroes red carpet viewing of “The Ebony Canal” directed by Emmai Alaquiva and narrated by Viola Davis is a documentary film that examines the HERstoric portal between the disparities of infant mortality and the current state of maternal health orbiting Black women. Despite the undercurrents, the mission aims to foster a new wave of solution-driven practices. The vision is to move maternal health forward in the journey to save Black mothers and Black babies.

If you have not seen it it is a MUST see! To date the best, most comprehensive depiction I have seen! A balance of joy and justice.

The first picture below, is me just giving Emmai a heartfelt thank you for his inclusion of the impact and value of midwives which is often overlooked. Every birth worker, patient, legislator MUST see this! It was life changing!

Guess what?!!! Another one in the record books! Royal Generation 6th Annual Community Baby Shower was a whole VIBE!!!! Over 275 people walked thru our gates and over 125 families served! Thank you from the bottom of my heart to EVERYONE who helped to make it a success ! We have gotten so many testimonials via email and text about how impacted families were. We are committed to improving black maternal health disparities one MAMA, one BABY, ONE FATHER, ONE COMMUNITY, ONE GENERATION AT A TIME!!! It truly takes a village and we are so thankful to have you apart of ours!

This week I was honored to receive the 2025 Women of Achievement Health Equity in Public Service Award from the March of Dimes. What an esteemed honor! Thank you to my husband, family, friends, and colleagues for coming out to support! I could not do the work I do without the love and support of each of you. This is just the beginning of what I believe will continue to do through me as I continue to make His mark in the earth.
