Horizons Philadelphia

Horizons Greater Philadelphia is a transformational, community-centered education program proven to close the opportunity gap.

Students attend a tuition-free, intensive, 6-week summer academic
program each summer from K-8. Horizons transforms the way students see themselves and their future. On average, Horizons students advance two to three months in reading and math skills each summer, have higher school-year attendance, and are more likely to graduate from high school. They return to school each year prepared and excited to learn. With a network of support behind them, Horizons Greater Philadelphia students embrace an expansive view of what is possible. Current Philadelphia sites are located at Episcopal Academy, Greene Street Friends,Cristo Rey Philadelphia High School and Springside Chestnut Hill Academy
