We were deeply honored to have Dr. Josè-Marie Griffiths, President of DSU, as our guest of honor at the Kiwanis meeting on Tuesday. Dr. Griffiths will be finishing her tenure as president at the end of the month. She will be taking on the role of Chancellor at DSU, championing the university's cyber programs.

Kiwanis service extends well beyond our single club. Across Division 5 and the Minnesota‑Dakotas District, clubs are working on literacy initiatives, food security projects, and youth leadership programs that collectively impact children throughout the region.

By sharing stories from other clubs in our division and district, we highlight how local Kiwanians are part of a larger network of service that multiplies our impact.

Today, Steve Rowe, who serves as School Resource Officer for Chester and Rutland-Ramona school districts, spoke to our Kiwanis group. Steve's unique blend of law enforcement experience and 23 years of service in the SD Air National Guard make him exceptionally qualified for the SRO role. We are very lucky to have this dedicated guy! Thanks for your service Steve.
