Today we celebrate World Art Day! Many hospitals offer patients the chance to participate in art therapy.

According to St. Paul’s Hospital, patients who spend up to 20 hours a week on dialysis can participate in the “Art Cart” program, which gives them a creative outlet. While treatment can be tedious, art offers a positive, engaging way to pass the time.
