HLA Lacrosse Foundation/Team HLA The HLA Lacrosse Foundation was established in 1993 This same year we created Team HLA, all star select travel teams entered in tournaments across the country.

The HLA Foundation is committed to engaging and inspiring youth girls and women through sport and lacrosse with a positive and constructive atmosphere. The Foundation, established in 1994, has multiple ongoing commitments including the major sponsor for the annual US Lacrosse National Tournament which hosts elite teams from across the country and to select and honor the most outstanding schoolgirl

lacrosse player at the Tournament. The HLA National Schoolgirl Award is presented annually and the girl’s name added to the elite list of past recipients. We have committed our support to US Lacrosse and the National Tournament for as long as the tournament exists. In 2008, HLA Clinics and Camps were introduced which are hosted and coached by past and present HLA recipients, finalists and elite NCAA players. The Foundation is always searching and available for suggestions on how to help and extend the youth and women's lacrosse experience. Created in the honor of Heather Leigh Albert 1972 - 1993
