Meet KCT's newest Garden Steward, Lou! With an extensive arts background and experience in land care and advocacy, they bring a passion and excitement that blend both worlds, deeply representing the work that has happened and continues to take shape in the garden. 🌿

We are so excited to have them on board, so please help us welcome them to the work! 🤗

Stop by the garden on Tuesdays from 3 PM - 7 PM and on Wednesdays - Fridays from 7 AM - 11 AM to say hello and get your hands into the soil.

Every Wednesday this May, we're joining the Boston Ujima Project for Ujima Wednesdays, a monthly workshop series.

This month's theme: How Do We Own Our Place in the Future?

On Wednesday, we're starting with Imagining Solarpunk Futures, a free hybrid workshop and talkback with Jasmin Velez, inspired by the Solarpunk Surf Club model.

KCT's 2026-2028 Strategic Plan is now available, grounded in our core belief: the future of Kensington should be shaped by its residents.

Our plan focuses on three main priorities: Community Relationships and Partnerships, Fundraising and Asset Acquisitions, and Scaling and Replication. Collectively, these cover 103 goals over the next three years.

Community starts with conversation. ☕ Join us on April 15th for a Coffee Chat with your local Community Relations Officer, Tina Willis. This is a drop-in event at the KCT office for Kensington residents to connect, ask questions, and be heard. Come as you are, stay as long as you like.

We're hiring a Seasonal Garden Steward! 🌿

KCT is seeking a community-minded individual to steward our garden on Kensington Ave this season. No gardening experience necessary, just a willingness to learn and a love for the neighborhood.

April 13 through November 6, 2026, 16 hrs per week at $25/hr.

Kensington residents and Spanish speakers encouraged to apply.
