Wow what a day. The weather was great. We got 2 of our worst places fixed. The corner of the the foundation that was in such bad shape and one of the really bad window seals that needed to be replaced. I am so pleased with the progress we made today.

We are so excited today!!! The weather has finally cooperated and we are starting the physical work on the church. I’m so grateful for the people that came to help. Ricky Tribble showed up with good stuff to get the job done. Billy Hood and his grandson Jackson came with tools and ready to work, Tommy Morgan come with his expertise and we’re just working away

❤️ Thank you to Mississippi Live for sharing the story of Pheba Methodist Church and our efforts to preserve this special piece of our community’s history!

The Pheba Methodist Church Preservation Association is a nonprofit organization** dedicated to restoring and maintaining this historic church. Any future proceeds from use of the building will go right back into its maintenance and preservation — **not for private profit.**

We know many of you are waiting to see the physical work begin. The crippling summer heat has delayed us because we simply haven’t wanted to ask volunteers to work in unsafe temperatures. As the weather cools, we’re looking forward to getting to work!

This little church has stood for **over 150 years**, and we need your help to keep it standing for generations to come. ❤️

If you would like to help, all the ways to donate can be found in the pinned post at the top of our page. If you’re unable to donate, sharing our story helps tremendously too!

Thank you for helping us preserve a piece of Pheba’s history. ❤️
