Thanks to Jim for his help on Saturday with the railing staining at Penny's Bridge. We will continue on Monday, the 24th, from 3:30 till 6. Any amount of time you could help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Charlie

It's cooler near the river. BTW, the lake is very refreshing today. Some tenants on Penny's Bridge. It is getting kind of crowded in that nest.

The Clean Water Festival was a great success. Lovely weather and a good turnout. Pewaukee River Partners, Friends and Guests; I just want to say “Thank You” to all the Partners that stopped by to help at the Clean Water Festival on Saturday. Beth, Brian, Jim, Linda, Nancy and Matt all helped to make the day a great success. The amount of people coming through the exhibits seemed to be one of the largest of the past years. Our watershed aerial photo, where you can pick out your hose and place a pin, had more pins than I can remember. Our entire box of Swedish Fish was also handed out, another indication of crowd size. Our animal identification test, for the children to get their passport stamp, was busy the entire day. Our new map and display, that Beth assembled of all the boardwalks the Partnership has helped build, let people know about these recreational activities in the Village.

The restoration of the platform and bench located at the outfall is complete! We were able to reuse many of the original pieces, keeping the charm and history in tact. Thank you to all who helped with this restoration project!
