Pewaukee River Partnership The PRP was started in September 2004 by a group of local residents who shared a common interest in the Pewaukee River and its surrounding watershed.

Their mission is to preserve, protect, promote, and enhance the Pewaukee River and its watershed.

The Clean Water Festival was a great success. Lovely weather and a good turnout. Pewaukee River Partners, Friends and Guests; I just want to say “Thank You” to all the Partners that stopped by to help at the Clean Water Festival on Saturday. Beth, Brian, Jim, Linda, Nancy and Matt all helped to make the day a great success. The amount of people coming through the exhibits seemed to be one of the largest of the past years. Our watershed aerial photo, where you can pick out your hose and place a pin, had more pins than I can remember. Our entire box of Swedish Fish was also handed out, another indication of crowd size. Our animal identification test, for the children to get their passport stamp, was busy the entire day. Our new map and display, that Beth assembled of all the boardwalks the Partnership has helped build, let people know about these recreational activities in the Village.

Once again, Thanks to all for your support, and I hope everyone has a wonderful July 4th holiday. Charlie

This crew is like a machine! Before and after platform work. Work to continue to replace the bench this week. If anyone can work on a weekday, we can finish the job in about an hour. The parking lot will be closed Sunday and Monday for sealing. If you have some time after Monday and would like to help, let me know by return email. I am available most anytime during the day. Pewaukee River Partners, Friends and Guests; Thanks to Beth, Linda, Meridith, Stephanie and Brian for their help on Saturday. We planted the flower boxes on the bridge with the donated plants from Schulte's Garden center in the Village. We also did some cleanup in the native plant areas by the parking lot at Koepp Park.
