is a non-profit organization dedicated to giving back to our community. Through annual fundraising efforts, Scherrer Cares donates to a variety of organizations and causes each year. As part of our mission to build kindness in communities, we also established our own buddy bench program, an anti-bullying initiative, which provides Wisconsin schools with customized buddy benches to help kids spread kindness and build friendships.

That’s a wrap on our 12 Days of Giving through Scherrer Cares! 🎁

Our hearts are so full after visiting twelve incredible local organizations that pour kindness, compassion, and support back into our communities—just like we strive to do every day.💙

We saw some familiar faces and met some wonderful new ones, and it was truly inspiring to hear how our donations will help further their missions. This tradition is something we look forward to each year—’tis the season of giving and building kindness in our community!

Here’s a look at the 12 donations we made this year:
1. Sharing Center, Inc. – serving western Kenosha County
2. Bridge Street Mission – Wausau homeless shelter offering faith-based addiction recovery, meals, and housing
3. Racine Literacy Council - provides literacy services that allow Racine County residents to attain their full potential
4. SAFE Haven of Racine – a multicultural, community-based shelter providing emergency housing for youth experiencing homelessness or runaway situations
5. Wonderland Camp & Conference Center/Salvation Army - creates unforgettable experiences, spiritual growth, and fun for youth and families
6. Lakeland Animal Shelter – supporting animals in need across Walworth County
7. Racine Zoo
8. Faith Christian Academy
9. Karcher Kupboard – serving roughly 70 students daily with essential items Karcher Middle School
10. Sleep in Heavenly Peace – building and providing beds to children in Walworth County; over 100 beds donated to kids in need
11. Lakeland Sharing Foundation – supporting their holiday gift program for kids
12. Open Arms Free Clinic – a $1,000 donation provides $10,000 worth of medication for community members!

Thank you to all these amazing organizations for the work you do. Together, we’re making our community stronger, kinder, and more connected. ✨

Looking back at some of the many buddy bench donations that took place this past year! It gives us great joy when recipients send updates of how kids are utilizing and enjoying our benches, that is what this program is all about❤️

What an amazing day bringing kindness to St. Francis de Sales Parish School in Lake Geneva! 🌟 We delivered their brand-new custom Scherrer Cares Buddy Bench, and the students were beyond excited—one even shouted, “THIS IS SO COOL!” 😍

With the school’s brand-new playground now complete, this bench is the perfect addition to help spark friendships and promote inclusion. 💛 We can’t wait to see all the connections and smiles it helps create!

🌟 Scherrer Cares is proud to support kindness in action at PewaukeeSchools!🌟

We recently helped fund, design, and build Calming Coves—special spaces on each elementary playground where students can take a quiet break, reset, and gather their thoughts. 🛖💙

What makes this project extra special? It all started with an idea from a student! ✨ We’re honored to help bring his vision to life and provide kids with a safe, peaceful space to recharge during the school day.

We're proud to support the Burlington Public Library with a donation to help meet several of their current needs! As a cornerstone of our community, the library offers countless resources and programs that make a real difference—so giving back was an easy choice. This contribution will help fund compassion kits for those in need, stock their food pantry, and provide Story Time Adventure Kits for kids.

We are proud to donate a Buddy Bench to the Burlington Community Aquatic Center in honor of Ed Nadolski, a prominent and impactful member of the community. We have no doubt that this bench will get utilized by so many kids enjoying their summers at the pool. Another reminder that kindness and friendships can be built anywhere❤️Thank you Burlington Standard Press for highlighting this story!

One of the most exciting moments of our golf outing is always the ball drop!

With a chance to win $3,000 and a bucket truck generously donated by Adams Electric (Team Adams) to drop the balls from the sky, who wouldn’t be pumped up? 🚁💸

It’s a thrilling way to wrap up a day of fun, and we're so grateful to everyone who joined in the excitement and supported Scherrer Cares. Your participation helps us continue to build kindness and strength in our communities!

What an incredible day at our golf outing fundraiser! In addition to the beautiful weather and amazing rounds of golf, we had a blast with 6 fun games spread across the course — and a few awesome vendors too! 🎉

The games included:
• 🦆 Whack a Duck
• 🎡 Spin the Wheel
• 🪓 Ax Throwing
• 🎯 Bags Toss
• 🎲 Roll the Dice
• 🍻 Yard Pong

Thanks to everyone's participation in the hole games, we were able to raise $5,000 to support our mission of building kindness and strengthening communities. 💪

Another unforgettable Scherrer Cares Golf Outing is in the books! 🏌️‍♂️

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who came out to support our mission of building kindness throughout Wisconsin. Your continued generosity fuels the work we do and helps make a real impact in the communities we serve. This year we raised a whopping $138,000!!

We're honored to support a cause close to our hearts💛 This week, Scherrer Cares made a donation to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Wisconsin in honor of the Jones Family—an organization that has touched the lives of many in our own Scherrer family.

Along with our donation, we dropped off over 25,000 can tabs to raise additional money and grab-and-go snacks to provide comfort to families during difficult times.

Giving back never felt so meaningful!
