Where are our Lab and Retriever lovers?! 🐕🐕‍🦺

Levi-Retriever-7

Yep, they go together! 🐾🐾 They are pawfect! Levi is playful and a little goofy, and funny and affectionate. Kezar is also playful but in a more dialed down way. He’s more an observer, THEN a participant, and then a chill dude that watches happily from the sidelines. He’ll cuddle too, and is happy to sit at your feet and just be near you. Dogs are good and cats are too! This pair checks all the boxes. They’d make your house a home instantly. You should meet them! 707-787-7010; [email protected]

ADOPTIONS!!! 🐾❤️🐾❤️🐾❤️
We love to share recent adoptions with you, and when we have 3 happen all in the same month, we are over the moon! Such was the case with PATCHES, DAISY, and LAYLA!

PATCHES found her furever home after we were contacted by Jon & Kathy, who’d recently lost their beloved pup and were hoping to bring back some joy into their lives by way of another dog. They came to meet some of the Lily’s pack, and specifically Patches. They were immediately smitten with Patches and took her home right away, but as foster to adopt, since they wanted to be sure they could accommodate her hearing challenges. Well…that just took a couple of days, because it turned out to be no challenge at all, and they were head over heels for her and she for them, so BOOM! An adoption it became, and they lived happily ever after. 🥹💖🐾

LAYLA wasn’t with us for too long before she was spotted by Lisa and Dan and their niece Olivia, who at 15, already has aspirations to become a dog trainer. Lisa and Dan have a sweet dog named Charlie who needed a pal, and Layla loved hangin’ out with other dogs, so we were fairly certain it would be a good match. A meeting was arranged, and it was pawfect! 😉 Charlie and Layla hit it off right away, and Layla loved all of her new potential
humans. Olivia felt she would have fun training Layla, so the deal was sealed, and everyone went home together and never looked back! 🥰🐾🤍

DAISY’S adopters had adopted from us before-only in 2024, where they took home two dogs from us; Leon-a cattledog, and Chloe, a Golden Retriever. Sadly, both dogs had crossed the rainbow bridge a few months ago, just a week apart. ❤️‍🩹
Michael and John were missing badly the sound of paws around the house. They arranged to come back to Lily’s to meet dogs, and upon meeting Daisy, they fell hard! 💛 Daisy, being the intuitive dog that she is, showed them much love and tenderness, and it was a true match all the way around…

Daisy got a nice bath the morning of her departure and waited excitedly to go to her new home. Michael and John arrived just as excited to pick her up with their hearts on the mend and feeling joyful again! 😌 The happy trio rode off into the sunset to create new memories together. 😊💗🐾

DUKE! This dog is blossoming into the most amazing pup! You may recall, he came in with his collar embedded in his neck. Well, his trust is growing by leaps and bounds. He’s silly and playful and sweet and a bundle of love! He’s definitely searching for that one special person or family to call
his own, and we are working hard to find them. It’s an intentional balancing act at this point to continue to encourage Duke to shine and be all that he can be, but keep an intentional boundary with him to prevent him from bonding too deeply with the wrong person, hence making it difficult when he gets to go to his forever home. This makes it all the more important for him to find a home quickly!

If you crave a one on one bond with a pet who is more than just a dog hangin around the house, then undoubtedly, Duke is for you! He’s deep, he’s sensitive in the best way, he’s smart, loving and loyal. Come see for yourself! 707-787-7010; [email protected]

Oh how we love to share happy news!!!

COWBOY has been adopted!!! 🤠🥰

They say everything happens for a reason, and this was one of those times for sure!

Judy & Mike had just lost their beloved dog earlier in the week and and called us 3 days later, as they had seen Cowboy online and were already smitten. 😍 They hated being without a dog, and wanted to come and meet Cowboy right away! When they arrived, Cowboy took to them immediately and showed them his tender side, really laying it on thick! 😉 They, of course, fell head over heels for Cowboy, and couldn’t believe how much he looked like their prior dog they’d just lost. It was as if it was meant to be! There was no way they were leaving without Cowboy, so they packed him up, and off they all went to Cowboy’s new home together!

Congrats to all! We sure love a happy ending and we are thrilled to share it with you! ❤️❤️❤️🐾🐾🐾

Anybody wondering what’s up with ENZO!? This 9-year old ball of resilience is doing amazing! He’s finally out of his cone and moving away from his activity restrictions from his hip dislocation after being hit by a car before we got him. He’s literally the definition of ‘you can’t keep a good (dog) down.’ 😏 This boy is the king of grit. Want a pup that’s adaptable and up for anything? ✅How about a dog that is ready when you are? ✅ A pup to follow you everywhere? ✅ A silly, fun and frolicking dog? ✅
How about a cuddler too? ✅

If you know this type of breed, then you just know! Loyal like none other, (except maybe a GSD, or a Heeler, or a…) 😉
But we digress. He is seriously going to be a loyal and steadfast companion to whomever picks him and we will envy that relationship! Please come and meet this special boy. He would be a wonderful addition to any active home!

Meet MAYA! 😍

This sweet pea 10-year old Lab/Border Collie Mix came to us as an owner surrender when her humans could no longer care for her. She was originally adopted from the shelter as a wee one-year old pup and has been a beloved pet, growing up with kiddos and kitties, getting along splendidly with both! She also vibes well with other dogs, making her close to perfect: she just needs to drop a little weight, (she’s 85 pounds!) 😛

Maya’s a happy, go-lucky pup, who likes to go with the flow. She’s working on building her stamina so we can get her more exercise, as she SHOULD weigh about 20 pounds less. 🙃 But all in due time. 😉 For now, we’re snuggling with her and doing controlled walks, and getting to know her, which is a lovely experience. 🥰You should come and meet her! Let us know!

Ready for our newest addition!? Meet PORTER! 🥰

Porter is an owner surrender who has come from a wonderful family. He has been well-loved, and was trained as a service dog for his human boy, who has autism. He was a loyal and faithful companion to him throughout his life, and saw his family through many life events. As it does sometimes, life got very hard for them recently, and they had to make the difficult choice to find Porter a new home. This decision was not made lightly, but in the best interest of Porter. 🐾🤍

Porter has no idea he’s a senior dog, much less a 14-year one! He loves to play like a puppy, and greets everyone as if he is one. 😏 Porter loves kiddos, and every dog that he meets! He loves cuddles, and his walkies, enjoying going on regular sniffaris. 😉🐾

Aside from normal senior aging, Porter has a clean bill of health; his eye mass will be removed in a few weeks. He’s such a great dog! He’d do well in any home, but kids and other dogs would be an added bonus! ❤️

I took MAX to our adoption event yesterday at The Feed Store, (who were so good to us) and I can’t brag enough about him! 🤗

From the minute we left the sanctuary, our boy was a dream! He did so well in the car, (in the back seat with a seatbelt adapter) walked incredibly well on a leash, greeted everyone with a soft nudge, or a smooch if they’d allow it, and didn’t react to the penned up chickens 🐓 nearby or the baby goat 🐐 being carried past us! He patiently sat while children petted him, and took treats with the gentlest mouth.

And on the ride home, as you can see, I had to indulge him with some moments of breathing in the open space out of the car window…

When I brought him back to the sanctuary, he wouldn’t let me out of his sight. He watched my car obsessively as I drove away. 🥺

I’ve been doing this a long time, but this guy-be still, my heart. ❤️
Maxy, there’s something so very extraordinary about him. 🥹 It’s inexplicable, but you would be winning the prize of your life if you adopted this dog. Please come see for yourself. ❤️
