History remains an important part of understanding the community we share today.

The Perrysburg Rotary Community Foundation is honored to support the Hood Park Native American Burials Committee with a $500 grant toward the placement of a burial marker recognizing fourteen Native American individuals whose remains were accidentally unearthed during a 1990 reconstruction project in Hood Park.

Projects like this help ensure stories from the past are remembered with dignity and respect, while preserving an important piece of local history for future generations.

We are grateful to support efforts that encourage reflection, remembrance and a deeper understanding of the people and events that helped shape our community.

New here? Welcome to the Perrysburg Rotary Community Foundation.

Since 1984, the Rotary Club have been guided by one simple principle: Service Above Self. The Foundation was established to help marshal financial resources and fund those service projects. Every day, we work alongside our community to support projects that make a real difference, from parks and playgrounds, from educational programs to community wellness initiatives and beyond.

We believe in thoughtful giving, in connecting people with causes that matter, and in creating lasting impact. Every donation and every volunteer hour helps build a stronger, more compassionate community throughout Northern Wood County.

Stick around to see the stories behind the giving, the lives being changed and the projects made possible by people like you. Learn more at prcf.org.

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice continues to shape the freedoms and opportunities we enjoy each day. From all of us at the Perrysburg Rotary Community Foundation and Perrysburg Rotary Club, we remember with gratitude.

Communities are often shaped not only by what we build, but by what we create together.

The Perrysburg Rotary Community Foundation is pleased to support Main ART-ery with a $1,000 grant, helping bring a new public mural installation to life as part of the Framework of America project.

This support will help provide the infrastructure needed to safely and professionally display the completed mural, including installation and signage that recognizes the collaborative effort behind the work. Designed with both durability and accessibility in mind, the installation will offer a space for the community to engage with and reflect on the project over time.

Public art has a way of bringing people together, creating shared experiences and adding meaning to the places we pass through each day. Projects like this serve as a reminder that creativity and community go hand in hand.

We are grateful to support efforts that celebrate collaboration, culture and the spaces that connect us.

Communities are strengthened when we take time to recognize and celebrate the stories that shape them.

The Perrysburg Rotary Community Foundation is pleased to support Visit Rossford Ohio with a $1,500 grant, helping bring Heritage Day-America 250 to life as part of the 2026 Rossford Balloon & Fireworks Festival.

Taking place July 17–19, 2026 in the Rossford Crossroads, the festival will introduce Heritage Day-America 250 on Sunday, July 19. This new cultural arts component aligns with the national commemoration of America’s 250th anniversary and is designed to celebrate the cultural diversity that has shaped Rossford and Northwest Ohio.

Events like this remind us that community is not only built through service, but also through shared experiences that bring people together and honor where we’ve come from.

We are grateful to support efforts that celebrate heritage, foster connection and strengthen the communities we share.

There are many ways to support healing in a community. Sometimes, it begins with something as simple as time on the water.

The Perrysburg Rotary Community Foundation is pleased to support Serenity Sailing with a $1,125 grant, helping advance its mission of providing restorative sailing experiences for individuals and families impacted by cancer.

This funding will support the purchase of lightweight, wicking sport shirts for Serenity Sailing’s volunteer crew, helping ensure comfort, safety and a professional presence during each excursion. By supporting those who give their time so generously, we help create an experience that is welcoming and reassuring for every guest on board.

These outings offer participants a chance to step away from the challenges they are facing and find a sense of peace, connection and renewal. It is a reminder that care can take many forms, often found in simple, thoughtful moments.

We are grateful to support efforts that bring comfort, dignity and hope to those who need it most.

Strong communities are built one project at a time.

Since 1984, Perrysburg neighbors, volunteers and Rotarians have come together to support projects that strengthen our town. One shining example is Perrysburg Rotary Community Park - what began as an empty field in the late 1990s is now a vibrant gathering place for people of all ages. From pickleball and tennis courts to an all-inclusive playground, soccer fields and walking tracks, the park reflects the care, dedication and vision of those who believe in giving back.

Every grant we award is carefully reviewed.

Thoughtful giving requires thoughtful oversight. Our Board of Trustees, made up of local leaders and longtime volunteers, evaluates each request to ensure donations strengthen our community and make a meaningful impact. From education and recreation to programs supporting neighbors in need, every decision reflects a commitment to responsible stewardship and service above self.

There are many ways a community cares for its own. Sometimes, it begins with something as simple as making sure there is enough food to share.

The Perrysburg Rotary Community Foundation is pleased to support St. John’s Lutheran Church Food Pantry with a grant to strengthen their ability to serve individuals and families facing food insecurity in Wood County.

This support will help fund the purchase of a chest freezer, allowing the pantry to store and distribute a greater variety of nutritious foods, especially during times of increased need such as the holidays. It is a practical improvement, and one that will make a meaningful difference for those who rely on the pantry’s services for many years to come.

St. John’s Food Pantry is a volunteer-driven effort rooted in the belief that no one in our community should go without. Through steady service and the support of local partners, they continue to meet that need with care and consistency.

We are grateful to stand alongside organizations like this that quietly serve their neighbors and strengthen the communities we all share.

Our 42nd annual fundraiser brought more than 300 community members together for an evening of music, conversation and shared purpose! Many of those who attended dressed in the style of the 1920s to reflect this year’s theme: Bootleggers Bash. The evening reflected what this annual fundraising event has become over the years: a tradition rooted in service and support of our community. Thank you to all of those who attended, and to the Hilton Garden Inn Toledo/Perrysburg for the great food, service and welcoming setting.

We are grateful to our Presenting Sponsor, Mercy Health - Toledo , along with the many sponsors and partners who made the evening possible. Their continued support allows this work to carry forward year after year.

The sounds of Hepcat Revival and other local jazz artists carried throughout the ballroom, while Jerry Anderson brought energy and momentum to the auction. It was an evening that felt both lively and meaningful, with people coming together in support of something larger than themselves.

One of the most meaningful moments occurred when representatives of three of this year’s beneficiaries spoke: Wood County Committee on Aging, Connecting Kids to Meals and Otsego Food Pantry. Their words served as a reminder that hunger lives closer than we think and of the ongoing need across Wood County to help those in need.

Proceeds from the event will support 13 organizations working to address food insecurity in our community, helping provide meals and essential services to individuals and families who rely on their support.

We are grateful to all who attended, supported and contributed to the success of this year’s Bootleggers Bash!
