My promise to District E:
1. I will show up prepared and speak for our district, not for special interests seeking to influence me via donations.
2. I will speak clearly and consistently to promote transparency in Harford County and earn back our residents' trust.
3. I will oppose any new taxes or public debt (bonds) for projects that are not necessary or that benefit insiders over the interests of the district.
4. I will oppose all industrial uses of agricultural land or forests.
5. I will oppose overdevelopment that crowds schools, creates crowded and unsafe roads, and overburdens our infrastructure.
6. I will vote for Republican school board nominees, who hold values consistent with our district. I will push for a system that parents can trust for its focus on education and cultivating positive values.
7. I will join with the new council in proactively looking to update the county charter to prepare Harford County for the coming decades. We must solidify our county against outside forces that would take advantage of us.
8. I will work with any and all elected officials in this county. The voters are the boss. I will respect anyone elected by our voters or working for our county.

CANDIDATE NIGHT & 3P COMMUNITY UPDATE

As part of our ongoing community updates, 3P Protect Perryman Peninsula invites residents to join us for an evening of community engagement and conversation with 3P-recommended candidates for local office. This forum is an opportunity to learn where candidates stand on issues affecting Perryman, Aberdeen, and the surrounding Harford communities, including responsible growth, environmental stewardship, public accountability, and preserving our quality of life.

In addition to hearing from the candidates, attendees will receive updates on 3P’s ongoing efforts and important community issues, including the proposed Woodley Road and Spesutia Road projects, data center updates, utility infrastructure impacts, and other developments affecting the future of the Perryman Peninsula.

All community members are welcome and encouraged to attend. Come meet the candidates, ask questions, and learn more about the issues shaping the future of our community. All are welcome!

These recommendations were made through the lens of our 3P Vision for Local Voices and Environmental/Community Stewardship.

This is our environmental and quality-of-life list for Harford County.

Perryman is where our work began, but this list is not only about Perryman. What happens at our borders affects the whole county. Decisions about land use, industrial expansion, water protection, traffic, air quality, public health, historic preservation, rural character, transparency, and public safety do not stop at the edge of one community.

Our review focused on the eight priorities in our vision document: reversing environmental and racial injustice; promoting community-centered development; bolstering infrastructure and public safety; providing green space access and community recreation; acknowledging and preserving historic contributions; enabling sustainable economic development; developing collaborative planning and governance; and codifying public policy for long-term environmental and community protection.

No list is perfect. No candidate will agree with us on everything. But these are the candidates we believe are most likely to do the least harm, listen to affected communities, ask hard questions, and take the long-term consequences of development seriously.
