Hey everyone, in all the other County businesses and others who serve our community

Get ready for an awesome community event – **Taylor County Stronger Together**! We're super excited to host this on **Saturday, June 27th, from 10 AM to 3 PM**, and we'd absolutely love for you to be a part of it.

This is a fantastic opportunity for all our wonderful local businesses, non-profits, clubs, and organizations in Taylor County (or those that serve our community) to shine! Whether you craft amazing products, offer essential services, or run a bustling local business, we want to give you a platform to showcase what makes you special.

Think of it as a grand display of everything brilliant happening right here in Taylor County. It's the perfect chance to introduce yourselves to new faces – especially all the lovely folks who've recently moved to our area, and visitors from out of town too! You can set up a booth, show off your offerings, maybe even gain some new clients or members who haven't yet discovered your amazing work. Let's help our community connect with the incredible talent and services we have right at home.

Want to join the fun and show off what you do? We'd be thrilled to have you!

**Here's what you need to know:**
* **Event Date & Time:** Saturday, June 27th, 10 AM - 3 PM
* **Sign-up Deadline:** Please let us know you're in by **Wednesday, June 24th**.

**How to get involved:**

* Or, give JT Davis a call directly at 850-843-0332.

We're also having a couple of planning meetings on the **next two Tuesdays at 6:30 PM at the Historical Society**. If you're keen to lend a hand or simply learn more about shaping this event, please come along!

Warmly,
The Taylor County Stronger Together Team

Get ready to mark your calendars! The Taylor County Historical Society is thrilled to invite you to a very special celebration commemorating Taylor County's incredible 170-year journey. What makes it even more exciting is that we're tying it into America's 250th anniversary, making it a truly landmark event for our community!

This isn't just a celebration; it's a fun-filled family day designed for everyone! We'll be diving deep into the heart of Taylor County, exploring everything that makes our area so unique and wonderful. From our rich historical roots and vibrant cultural traditions to the fantastic local businesses that contribute so much to our community, there will be something to discover and enjoy for all ages.

Our younger attendees are in for a treat with a variety of engaging games and interactive activities! They'll have a blast learning about our local history, from prehistoric times right up to the present day, in ways that are both educational and entertaining.

At the very core of this event, we're proud to feature our amazing local nonprofits. These organizations are the backbone of our community, providing essential services and support to so many. We'll be showcasing their incredible work, alongside other vital community services, local agencies, and businesses that help Taylor County thrive.

Every once in a while, we get pleasant surprises at the Historical Society and today was one of those days. We received an original of this photograph which is well over 100 years old. The streets have been labeled so you can appreciate where it is.

This was taken from the old water tower.

This original photograph and others were recently donated by Laurie (O’Quinn) Lilliott, Granddaughter of Barney O’Quinn Jr.
