Is anyone surprised there is a National Sock Day and it is today. Post a picture of your favorite socks in the comments and Maggie will pick a random winner she will send a token gift to. It’s good she has her own job and money now.

What an incredible finish! Today we made the final big drop of socks, wrapping up this year’s collection. Packing care packages was the highlight of such a gloomy, rainy, sleety day.

Thanks to your amazing generosity, we was just under 700 pairs of hitting the ambitious stretch goal of 10,000 pairs. Thrilled we are making a difference within the community.

Thank you for helping us warm hearts by warming feet.

Last weekend, I joined the older girls Friendsgiving to do a service project. My Girl Scout friends helped me create 2-packs of kids underwear by size and gender. We unpackaged and repacked nearly 800 pairs of underwear. That’s about 400 kids we are providing clean, fresh underwear to.

Thank you to the older Girl Scouts in Liberty Trail Service Unit.

A simple thank you is not enough to express our heartfelt appreciation to St Jude School Mountain Top school for adding over 3,000 socks to the collection. Since the first collection, St Jude has donated socks every year. Thank you for helping us warm hearts by warming feet.

Special thank you to the Carrie, Claire, and Colette for meeting us with the socks. We ❤️ the Grandzols north.

Wow what a day!! We dropped the first set of socks and un**es at Mitzvah Circle today and volunteered both shifts. Always fulfilling and a good day.

Today was also the day that their fire clean up was happening. Since August, the fire debris was a sad sight to see. It felt good to see the clean up crew in action.

One new thing we learned is that Amazon sends trucks on Tuesday to pick up and deliver packages to partner agencies 100% free. They also moved Mitzvah from their old location to the new one. This is on top of donations they give too. Wow!

There is still time to donate and help us honor Gerry’s love of socks. We are so close to our goal and Mitzvah is in need now more than ever. Did you know our donation is most of the socks they get all year and helps to allow them to give socks all year round?
