💙🏁 BIG NEWS! LIVE LIKE CAM IS PROUD TO SPONSOR TYLER KITE #48! 🏁💙

We are beyond excited and honored to announce that Live Like Cam will once again be sponsoring 6-year-old Tyler Kite for his 2026–2027 snocross racing season! 🏁❄️

We had the privilege of supporting Tyler last year, and watching this little guy chase his dreams, work hard, and accomplish so much at such a young age has been incredible!

This year, we’re excited to take our support even further as Tyler and his family prepare for another exciting racing season, competing across the Midwest and beyond!

Anyone who knew Cam knows how much he loved snowmobiles, motorsports, and anything that involved a little speed and adventure. We couldn’t think of a more fitting way to honor his memory than by helping a young racer pursue something he’s so passionate about.

And who knows… you might just see a little piece of Cam's legacy traveling down the highway or making its way around the racetrack this season! 💙🏁

Live Like Cam isn’t just about remembering Cam. It’s about continuing to make a difference through the things he loved. 💙

💙 VOLUNTEER SIGN-UP IS LIVE! 💙

It takes a whole lot of helping hands to pull off the 2nd Annual Live Like Cam Fall Fundraiser and we would LOVE to have you be part of it!

Volunteer sign-up is officially open for our 2nd Annual Live Like Cam Fall Fundraiser on October 17!

We have several different areas and time slots available, so whether you can help for a little while or want to spend the day with us, there’s a place for you. 💙

We could use help with things like event setup, auction areas, games and activities, merchandise, cleanup and more.

Have a high school student who needs volunteer hours? We would love to have them help too!

We’re also looking for some extra hands before the fundraiser with things like putting baskets together, picking up donations and helping with table décor.

So much of what Live Like Cam has been able to accomplish has happened because people continue to show up and give their time. We truly couldn’t do this without you.

Our 2nd Annual Live Like Cam Fundraiser starts at 1 PM on October 17 at The Key Hotel in Dubuque, with live music, auctions, food, drinks, games and so much more throughout the day. 💙

We can’t wait to spend the day with all of you and celebrate everything that has been made possible through Cam’s legacy. 💙

💙 WE’RE ACCEPTING DONATIONS & SPONSORS! 💙

Donations are starting to come in for our 2nd Annual Live Like Cam Fall Fundraiser , and we are getting SO excited for October 17!

We’re still looking for businesses, organizations, families and individuals who would like to help make this year’s fundraiser a success and there are so many ways to get involved!

💙 AUCTION DONATIONS
Gift cards, baskets, merchandise, sporting goods, tickets, memberships and more are always appreciated but we’re also looking for some unique experiences and one-of-a-kind donations!

Think:
• Cabin stays, camping trips or weekend getaways
• Concert, sporting event or attraction tickets
• Golf, hunting, fishing or outdoor experiences
• Custom bean bag boards or other handmade items
• A dinner or meal prepared for a group
• Backyard BBQs, fish fries or other hosted experiences
• Photography, lessons, classes, tours or services
• Date-night or family experiences
• Custom creations or talents you’d like to share
• Or something completely unique we haven’t thought of!

🍷 We’re also collecting bottles of w**e, liquor and moonshine for some fun games and activities during the fundraiser!

We’re also looking for businesses and individuals interested in sponsoring portions of this year’s event. Sponsorships help offset event expenses so more of the money raised can go directly toward continuing Cameron’s legacy and giving back to our communities.

And you do NOT have to own a business to donate or sponsor! Families, individuals and groups are welcome to get involved too.

Every donation — big or small — helps us continue creating opportunities, supporting our communities and giving back to the people, causes and activities Cam loved most. 💙

A reminder that the gift of donation reaches farther than we may ever know. 💙

Yesterday, our family received a letter from one of Cameron’s tissue recipients.

Out of respect for the recipient’s privacy, we won’t share the letter itself. But they shared that donated tissue played a part in their hip replacement and their hope of returning to a life with less pain….walking, running, exercising and doing the things so many of us take for granted.

We know some of the incredible stories made possible through Cameron’s organ donation, but tissue donation is another part of his legacy that can be easy to overlook.

Receiving a letter like this is a reminder of just how far one person’s decision to become a donor can reach.

One decision. One donor. A ripple of lives changed.

This is one of the reasons organ and tissue donation awareness will always be part of the Live Like Cam mission. 💙

Because his legacy lives on.

💙 Some traditions are definitely worth keeping.

What a day at Peosta Days!

For the second year, Live Like Cam participated in the Peosta Days Parade continuing a tradition Cam had been part of for years.

This year’s theme was Back to the 90s, and our crew definitely went ALL IN. 😂

From Blockbuster and MTV to Pac-Man, giant cell phones, boomboxes and more neon than anyone probably needed, it was so much fun watching all of our crazy ideas come together.

But behind the finished float was something even better…

People showing up. 💙

There were endless volunteer hours spent painting, cutting, building, taping, stuffing bags, making decorations, preparing handouts and bringing this float to life.

A special thank you to Nolan for building our trailer and helping turn all of those ideas into something we could actually take down the parade route.

And thank you to every volunteer…adults AND kids….who gave their time to help us get it done. Live Like Cam continues to be what it is because people continue to show up. 💙

If you swipe through the pictures, you’ll also find a couple from years ago, long before Live Like Cam ever existed, when Cam was the kid riding through Peosta on these floats himself.

Whether it was a Cub Scout float or the neighborhood float, Cam looked forward to participating in Peosta Days and rarely missed a year.

None of us could have imagined back then that one day we would be building a float carrying his name.

This year, some of those same neighbors were there again, joined by family, friends and another generation of kids only now, we were doing it in Cam’s memory. 💙

We threw candy, 90s slap bracelets, Live Like Cam bracelets and even a few koozies. We laughed, made memories and loved seeing so many familiar faces waving and cheering along the route.

And to top off an already pretty special day, we were surprised to learn that our Live Like Cam float received 1st place! 🥇💙

But what we’ll remember most isn’t the placing.

It’s seeing people continue to show up.

It’s watching another generation of kids make memories together.

It’s keeping the things Cam loved going.

And it’s having another opportunity to share his name, his story and the life behind Live Like Cam.

Some traditions change.
Some traditions continue.
And some become part of a legacy. 💙

Not built around one mission.
Built around a life.

Thank you, Peosta, for another incredible Peosta Days and thank you to everyone who helped make this tradition possible.

This one’s for you, Cam. 💙

Days like today wouldn’t be possible without so many people willing to jump in and help. We are incredibly thankful for all the extra hands, love and support that allow us to be in two places at once and continue sharing Cam’s story and keeping his legacy going.
