We’re sharing Operation Stable Ground’s first official After Action Review.

Even though our website hasn’t launched yet, we want to be open about what we’re working on, what we’ve completed and what still needs to be done. Each AAR will give you a straightforward look at our progress and priorities for the next two weeks.

We’re building this organization the right way. one step at a time.

Today, Operation Stable Ground is still just an idea, a website, and a lot of long nights. We don’t have buildings yet, and we don’t have all the funding. But every mission worth believing in starts somewhere.

Before we build the campus, we want to build the community behind it.

We’re looking for anyone who believes our veterans deserve a better path home. Whether you’re a veteran, a business owner, a student, a tradesperson, a professional, or simply someone who wants to make a difference, there’s a place for you in this mission.

If this speaks to you or you know someone who’d want to help, send us a message, tag them in the comments, or share this post. Every conversation and every share brings us one step closer to making this vision a reality. 🇺🇸

I remember when I was younger (12-13) I went to a cousin’s birthday party at Chuck-E-Cheese. I didn’t really know anyone there so I sat by myself and didn’t talk. When it came time to eat, again I didn’t say anything. One of the parents came up to me and said something that has stuck with me to my adulthood. She said “closed mouths don’t get fed”. At the time I didn’t fully understand the weight of her statement.

If no one knows what you need, want, or going through. How can they help? The money, support, and team I need won’t just appear out of thin air. I must speak up.

You might want to help and like me but don’t have $250,000 burning a hole in your pocket. Now if you do happen to have $250,000. DM me 🤭

If not, social media is a powerful tool to reach those who do. So just hit all the buttons, leave a comment, share with your friends, and follow the page. If you believe veterans deserve a real chance after the military and have a skill you think we could use, DM us. Legal, grant writers, just wanna talk business? DM us.

Thank you 🫡🇺🇸

Tonight I spent way too much time staring at numbers.

Land. Buildings. Utilities. Equipment. Everything it takes to turn an idea into a place where veterans can actually rebuild their lives.

I’ll admit it… it got to me.

For a while I just sat there thinking, How am I ever supposed to raise this kind of money?

The doubt started creeping in. Maybe I’m aiming too high. Maybe I’m the wrong person to lead something this big.

Then I caught myself.

When I was in the Army, we didn’t get to choose whether the mission looked easy or impossible. We looked at the objective, made a plan, and started moving.

This mission deserves the same mindset.

I’m not asking people to believe in me. I’m asking them to believe that a veteran coming home deserves one stable place to land before life knocks them down.

I don’t know who will write the first big check. I don’t know if it’ll be one person, one company, or thousands of people giving what they can.

What I do know is that fear has never built anything worth remembering.

So I’m choosing courage over comfort.

I’m going to keep making phone calls. Keep sending emails. Keep hearing “no.” Keep showing up. And when I’ve done everything I possibly can, I’m leaving the rest in God’s hands.

Maybe this dream is bigger than me because it was never supposed to be carried by one person.

If you believe veterans deserve a better transition home, help me get this story in front of more people. Share it. You never know who might be the person God has already chosen to answer this prayer. 🙏 🇺🇸

Four years ago, I left the Army.

Like a lot of veterans, I quickly realized that transitioning to civilian life isn't easy. The structure is gone. The mission is gone. And sometimes it feels like you're figuring everything out alone.

I started asking myself a simple question:

What if there was a place where veterans could land after service and rebuild their footing before life started falling apart?

That question became Operation Stable Ground.

My goal is to build a 90-day transitional housing and mentorship program for veterans who need a safe place, structure, guidance, and a path forward.

This page is where I'll be documenting the entire journey.

The wins.The setbacks.The planning.The fundraising.The construction.The people who help make it happen.

If you're a veteran, have family who served, or simply believe nobody who served this country should struggle alone, I'd love for you to follow along.

Drop your branch of service in the comments.

Let's talk about the difficulties with coming home in relation to your own family.

What would have made coming home to your family easier or better?

Did they struggle to understand you and what you had been through?

Google says most new patient appointments have a 3 month wait before you can see a provider for mental health.

How do you cope with the long waiting lists of mental health and counseling centers?

What is one thing that COULD have made coming home easier after your military service??
