Nora's Warriors: our fight against SJIA Advocating and fundraising for sJIA research in the hope of an eventual cure for Nora.

Nora was diagnosed with Systemic Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (SJIA), also called Stills Disease, just after her third birthday. This rare and debilitating auto-inflammatory condition causes system-wide inflammation. One dangerous complication is known as MAS- where her immune system can turn on her own body with sometimes fatal consequences. She has failed two of the three available biologics (K

ineret and Ilaris) and is now on a biweekly IV infusion biologic called Actemra. Our little fighter has endured more medical interventions than we can count, aver certainly more than many adults will ever encounter. This page is for her team of warriors to advocate and fundraise to raise awareness and promote a eventual cure.
