Shining A Light on Diabetes Special Free Event. Sign Up Requested.

I would like to invite you to this event in honor of my Dad, Francis McElroy, my Nana Marie McElroy and all our friends and family who navigate diabetes on a daily basis.

Thursday, November 13th, 2025
5 p.m. – 7 p.m. Peoria Sports Complex
Luminaries will be lit at dark.
Come visit our diabetes prevention/education activities and listen to our wonderful guest speaker.

The Lions are selling luminary bags for $10 each, 3 for $25. Decorate them with an inspirational message or in memory or support of a loved one. All funds raised will support children’s attendance at special summer camps for diabetes education and healthy living activities.

Team Inspire was so happy to support Outside Education Days at Peoria Elementary School! Each homeroom had a different tshirt to building teamwork and class identity. Cheers to all the wonderful teachers and staff who make learning interesting!!!

Operation Warm Hug! Today TIP delivered 150 new hoodies to Laurie Eldridge and the staff of Ira A. Murphy Elementary School. A VERY big thank you to Vice Mayor Jennifer Crawford, Susan Josephson, Angie Foutopoulus, Mary LaVaque, Stardust Industries and all our other donors who made this possible. Nothing feels better on a cold morning than a super cool new hoodie!

Our Halloween CANDY DRIVE for Luke AFB's Halloween Family Event starts tonight! Bags of individually wrapped candy and/or financial contributions would be so appreciated! ABLE Lost & Found Clothing Rack project at Sahuaro Ranch Elementary School. "We did get the coat rack and the students are loving the opportunity to utilize life skills to organize the various items such as jackets, sweatshirts, water bottles. My co-worker who works with these students (Amy Witters) will be sending over some photos. Thank you again for all your support. We are so thankful "😊

Go Suns! Susan's grandson, Colin, sponsored the purchase of soccer balls, basketballs and wiffleballs for Santa Fe Elementary School students. He is an amazing athlete and loves sports! Colin earned the money doing extra chores and savings from his family gifts and inflated all the balls. We were so inspired by his generosity to help other children in the community. One of Inspire's key goals is to work with our youth to give them opportunities to work on and to lead projects that they love. Thank you Colin!
