Cub Scout Day Camp - Bloomington, IL

Good evening,

Camp Director Andrew, here. I wanted to share the news that I am stepping down from the director position for personal reasons, but reassure everyone that day camp is still happening. There is a team working behind the scenes to deliver a great program this year.

I still plan to be at camp this summer so this isn't goodbye, but from the bottom of my heart, thank you for supporting me while I served in this role. It has been wonderful meeting so many of you during my pack visits.

Many of our camp staff are already trained and certified in CPR/AED, but tonight the W. D. Boyce Council, BSA hosted a training event to get more camp staff trained and certified for the summer.

Many thanks to the McLean County Parks at Comlara Park/Evergreen Lake for preparing the spaces we'll use this summer. 👷🏻⚒️

We are looking for responsible adults to become Rangemaster certified. No experience is necessary and we will train you for free if you staff our day camp in June. Become a Rangemaster to teach kids how to handle equipment safely, and educate them about the importance of situational awareness and attention to detail. Help them master a new skill!
