This Memorial Day, we take the time to ride to the Middle Eastern Conflict Wall Memorial to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service during the conflicts in the Middle East. It is a time not only to reflect on the lives lost, but also to remember the cost of freedom and the brothers and sisters who never made it home.
This weekend also gives us the opportunity to honor those joining our association. We proudly welcome Brandon "Ninja" Walsh to Chapter 24-7.
Congratulations and welcome home, brother.

Memorial Day is a time to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives while serving our country. For military members, it is more than a holiday—it is a day of reflection, remembrance, and respect for brothers and sisters in arms who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our freedoms. Their courage, selflessness, and dedication remind us that the freedoms we enjoy today came at a great cost. Memorial Day also serves as a time to honor the families who carry the memory of those heroes every day.

In 2012, Marine Cpl. Christopher Van Etten was serving with 1st Battalion, 7th Marines in Sangin, Afghanistan when an IED blast during an evacuation mission resulted in the loss of both of his legs.

His recovery was nothing short of incredible—released from the hospital in just three weeks and walking on prosthetics within two months.
Medically retired in 2013, Carbon continues to live life full throttle—competing in adaptive sports, riding motorcycles, and even appearing on TV.
Oh, and modeling 🤫

Carbon has been a member since 2021.
