The following timeline consists of factual information obtained from Escambia County public records, state evidence, depositions, and sworn testimony.
Less than one year prior to the May 23, 2022 incident involving Charles T. Moore and Mr. Palmer, there were two separate confrontations between Mr. Palmer and other men connected to his wife. In both situations, Mr. Palmer located the individuals and threatened them with a firearm, mirroring the circumstances later faced by CT.
According to video evidence from Mr. Palmer’s own cellphone, he used his truck to block the vehicle of Individual #1 at a convenience store and recorded himself issuing direct threats.
In the case of Individual #2, testimony states that Mr. Palmer tracked his wife and the man through a GPS locator in her vehicle. The confrontation escalated to the point where Mrs. Palmer drew a firearm on her husband in an attempt to defuse the situation.
On April 16, 2022, Facebook metadata confirms Mr. Palmer created a group chat titled “The Cheating Kita.”
He added his wife and CT, sending messages such as “I pull up at houses” and “I’m going to punish you…. I hope ya kids dont see this.”
On April 21, 2022, Palmers’ wife sent CT’s home address to Mr. Palmer through Messenger, an address obtained from the Pensacola property appraiser’s website.
On May 6, 2022, during an encounter at a local churchs’ cafeteria, Mr. Palmer told CT’s aunt, “When I see CT, I’m going to kill him.” This threat was immediately reported to the sheriff’s department.
On May 23, 2022, by no coincidence , Mr. Palmer confronted CT at a convenience store located 1.1 miles from CT’s residence, the same address that had been shared weeks earlier. CT was approached while pumping gas after dropping his youngest daughter off at school. He had owned his home for five years and had never seen Mr. Palmer in the area prior to this date.
The critical question remains: Why was neither the video footage from Mr.Palmers cellphone, neither the testimony of the two men whose lives were also threatened in the same manner as CT Moore’s not allowed in court during trial ?
