Calling all Ruths looking to connect with other ladies with shared experience. We need all Naomi’s too - if you have a testimony of what God has done in your life and you want to share that with others, this is your time!

The Naomi Project: Cupcakes & Covenant launch event will be an informational mixer where you can learn more about this project and have a great time meeting ladies of the community. We’ll be decorating cupcakes and chatting about the upcoming Naomi Project plans.

✨ Board Member Spotlight ✨

Anita Herron is our newest member of the Pouring Foundations Board of Directors. She brings her extensive knowledge of accounting and administrative functions to contribute valuable feedback and assistance in organizing the foundation’s behind-the-scenes work. Anita has lended a helping hand in all of the Pouring Foundations Board programs by assisting at House of Gilead, Cornerstone Care transportation, and will be a vital part of the upcoming Naomi Project.

Anita is a dedicated wife, mother, prayer warrior, and servant to many at her local congregation. We are thankful for Anita and her burden for the women of our community.

🥹👏🏼 Milestone Alert 🚨🤍

Shannon did something big this morning yall - she’s officially off probation and graduated drug court!

We’ve been honored to be a part of Shannon’s journey long before she moved into the Gilead house. Every moment of the last 2 years has been an honor to see God’s hand move mightily in her life. Shannon didnt have to move into the House of Gilead, but she heard the call of God and answered it with a submitted heart. Oh boy, has God honored her choice to obey and poured blessing and restoration out!!!

Today, we praise God for what He’s done in Shannon’s life. We thank Him for the transformation for providing the resources that have helped her rebuild and pour a solid foundation. We love you, Shannon!

Shoutout to our Cornerstone Care crew for hosting a successful food distribution last weekend ⭐️ Our team …

🍽️ Provided meats, fresh fruit, and pantry items to 41 families
⏰ Passed meal boxes to 20 families in the first 15 minutes!!!
🚙 Delivered groceries to 6 families who didn’t have transportation to the food distro
🤝🏽 Connected with 14 members of the community who requested follow-up contact for faith-based resources

We’re not just handing out food during these events. It’s an opportunity to meet and connect with our community. We couldn’t be more grateful to our sponsors who make these events possible. When you give, this is just a small part of the huge impact you make!

✨ 👏🏼 Volunteer Spotlight ✨ 👏🏼

Sis Jerri joined the foundation volunteer team at the end of 2025 and has been the biggest blessing! She’s recently accepted our invitation to be the lead director at House of Gilead. Sis Jerri has been the Gilead ladies first point of contact; offering Godly counsel, teaching Bible studies, and pouring her heart to serve into the House of Gilead.

We asked Sis Jerri why serving the women of community means so much to her and this is what she replied:

“Pouring Foundations provides an opportunity through the Gilead House to make a difference in the lives of women in recovery who need support through intercessory prayer, physical presence, and loving kindness. Jesus said in Mark 12:30-31 ” And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ 31 The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” These women are my sisters and a blessing to me.”
