We were so very honored to attend the Open House and Ribbon Cutting for our friends at Survivor-Led Solutions yesterday! God has blessed them with a beautiful space to continue the great work they do in our community - we couldn’t be more excited for them!

🩵👏🏼 Foundation Pouring Victory Reports & Blessing Requests 🩵👏🏼

Two families … that’s right … TWO! We’ve had the privilege of walking alongside of them over the last several months as they make strides to put their lives back together.

The First Family … God miraculous delivered mom from addiction. She’s reunified with her children. Completed rehab. Found an AMAZINGGGG job that she’s been consistent and diligent with for several months. Now, THEY FOUND A NEW HOUSE!!! 😭🏡🙌🏼 As they prepare to move in tomorrow, they are starting from scratch. See the list below - if you have anything hanging around the house you’re ready to get rid of, please pass it along 🤍

The Second Family … I can’t say enough words to express how mightily God has moved in their lives and given them favor. They now have jobs and a safe, stable place to live. This family’s situation is a little different than the first family, but it’s no less than God that they are alive and have safe shelter! 👏🏼 Their needs are a little more specific, but doable and will GREATLY help them as they continue to work hard and continue building on what God has given them.

Gilead’s One Year Anniversary was last week, but Steven and I were out of town. So happy we were able to get everyone together to celebrate this week 🤩

We had a fun night of games and fried chicken 🍗 😋 Steven was our Family Feud game host 🤣 he had wayyyy too much fun with it!! 🎥 video in the comments…

We even had a couple special guests join us for the fun! I think everyone was happy to have Candace join us.. her company is greatly missed at Gilead.

This is what it’s about - healing, building relationships, celebrating the victories, linking arms and walking this journey together. We love our Gilead family 🤍

I remember when we first started the foundation. We shared Gods plan to open a transitional house for ladies … we had SO many people put the idea down.

We would reach out to other nonprofits to link up and share resources and were told we’d never be able to open a house. They said the vision wasn’t possible in this area.

We spoke with several realtors and most of them wouldn’t even mess with the idea of finding a rental that would allow this type of project.

But for as many people who knocked it, God sent others to encourage and reinforce the vision. We had strangers show up ready to contribute whatever they could, our leaders spoke life and faith over the vision God gave us, and God made the impossible a reality. He’s made it better than we ever could have imagined.

As we celebrate ONE YEAR of the House of Gilead, we’re reminded that when there’s a need, God always makes a way. He’s faithful and keeps every promise 🤍

We’ve seen some ladies come and go, but each one has touched our lives in a special way. Each one has had the opportunity to choose peace, healing, and a relationship with Jesus. We pray each lady cherishes this time and takes it with them into the next season of life 🤍

If year one was this awesome … we can’t wait to see what God has in store for year two!
