So this weekend we travel in the rain and wind with grace.

Pensacola was in the house at Post 13 in Tallahassee for Girls State orientation! We are thrilled to announce that our American Legion Auxiliary Unit 193 Pensacola, FL delegate Lauren, and alternate Spring, have officially completed their final steps.

While in Tallahassee, they even met a fellow Pensacolian Sarah, who will be representing Unit 340 and also made the trip to Tallahassee to prepare for the Girls State.

Thank you, ALA Unit 13, for hosting the event and for your hospitality.

Lauren is now fully approved and ready to head to Florida State University from June 4th–12th! We are so proud of these young leaders and can't wait to see them represent our unit at Girls State. Join us in wishing them a huge congratulations! 🇺🇸✨

At our last meeting Saturday April 25th. We had the honor of presenting the American Legion Good Deed Award to Junior member Lauren. May she continue to soar and the Unit to continue to push her to do great things.

​The Hanniton-Watts Auxiliary Unit 193 mission of "Service, Not Self" was on full display this week!
​We are incredibly proud of our Junior Member, Lauren, who continues to find impactful ways to pour back into our community. Following her successful "Give Love" Hygiene Drive for the Honor HER Foundation of Northwest Florida, Lauren learned of a need within their veteran-led garden.
​Without hesitation, Lauren and her family coordinated a special delivery. On yesterday, April 9, they arrived with garden soil and a variety of plants to support this vital space for our veterans.
​Upon arrival, they were welcomed into a true garden oasis by "Momma M," a resident whose kindness and warmth made the delivery even more meaningful. Seeing our youth connect so deeply with our veteran family is a powerful reminder of why the Auxiliary exists—to honor sacrifice through active support and mentorship.
​Please join us in celebrating the heart of our Junior members as they lead the way in serving those who served us!

So incredibly proud of our American Legion Auxiliary Unit 193 Junior, Lauren. Even with a busy work, school, and winterguard schedule, she made sure to deliver all the hygiene and laundry supplies gathered during her "Give Love" drive before heading off to her shift. 🧺✨
​Watching the next generation lead by example and understand the true power of giving back is everything. A huge thank you to everyone whose generosity helped make this drive a success! The items were delivered to Honor HER Foundation of Northwest Florida
