We get to watch God do a work in women’s lives day by day.

But moments like this are especially worth celebrating.

When one of our ladies chooses to be baptized, she’s making a public profession of the faith that’s been changing her life from the inside out.

We’re so proud to celebrate this step.

✨ Beautifully Becoming Retreat — A Recap ✨

What an incredible few days at our Beautifully Becoming Retreat! 💕

Over these past few days, our ladies had the opportunity to slow down, step away from the everyday routine, and intentionally focus on what it means to become the women God has called them to be.

We spent time reflecting on salvation, identity in Christ, discipleship, expectancy, and our true worth as women of God. We worshiped, prayed, laughed, processed, created, shared, and made memories together.

A huge thank you to Magdalene’s Inc. for generously hosting us for our second day and creating such a beautiful environment for our ladies to reflect on their worth and identity. 💗

And of course, we had to end Day 4 with baptisms! What a beautiful way to finish our retreat—celebrating new life, renewed identity, and the work God is doing in each of these women. 🙌🏼

We are so grateful for every person who poured into this retreat, served behind the scenes, provided resources, prayed, encouraged, and helped make these days possible.

Most of all, we are grateful for what God is doing in the lives of our ladies. They are becoming. Becoming stronger. Becoming freer. Becoming more confident in who God created them to be.

And we get the privilege of watching it happen. 🤍

Day 4 of the Beautifully Becoming Retreat finished off with BAPTISMS! 🙌💦

What a beautiful way to end an incredible few days together. We watched our ladies take a public step of obedience and declare that their old life is behind them and they are walking in the newness of life in Christ.

There is something so powerful about witnessing women say YES to Jesus and publicly proclaim what He is doing in their lives. We are celebrating every testimony, every breakthrough, and every new beginning!

✨ Day Three of the Charis House Beautifully Becoming Retreat is in the books! ✨

We began the day with an on-time word from Chelsea Gay about what it means to be fully known by God and to truly know Him. What a beautiful reminder that we don’t have to hide, perform, or prove ourselves—God knows us completely and still calls us His own. 🤍

Then came one of the most beautiful moments of the retreat: our staff serving our ladies by washing their feet. 🦶🏼🤍 This simple but powerful act symbolized the love, honor, dignity, and worth each woman carries. It was a tangible picture of Jesus’ heart—serving, loving, and reminding each woman that she is worthy of being seen, valued, and cared for.

We ended the day with EJ Dickens, who brought a powerful message through the stories of Hagar, Esther, and the woman who had been bent over for 18 years. Each woman had a different story, a different struggle, and a different encounter with God—but their stories remind us that God sees the overlooked, meets us in our brokenness, and calls us into freedom and purpose.

Today was a beautiful reminder that God knows us, God sees us, and God is still writing our story.

We are so grateful for everything God is doing in the hearts of our ladies during Beautifully Becoming. 🌸

When someone you love is walking through recovery, you may not always know what to say.

But you CAN pray.

Pray for strength, wisdom, healing, healthy relationships, and hope for what’s ahead. Sometimes the most meaningful way to support someone is simply continuing to lift them up. ❤️
