We're almost afraid to update this graphic. Every time we do, it seems to trigger another attack. These strikes are still going on, we just aren't hearing as much about them anymore.

Let's be clear: Our U.S. military is conducting these attacks in the name of the American people. The people attacked may-- or may not-- be trafficking drugs, but in either case, they have not been proven guilty, or even charged. We are a lawless nation.

According to the NY Times: "A broad range of legal specialists on the use of lethal force have said that the strikes are illegal extrajudicial killings because the military is not permitted to deliberately target civilians — even suspected criminals — who do not pose an imminent threat of violence."

We're getting all set for our big cookout-style community potluck tomorrow, despite the rain! (Hint: there will be no "cooking out," but it will still be fun.)

We've got 54 hot dogs, 8 turkey dogs, 16 vegan dogs, ketchup, mustard, relish, and as many regular buns as we need. Something we weren't able to get, though, were gluten-free buns. It would be a major act of community care if anyone out there who has some on hand could bring them down to share in case any of our guests need some!

And of course, we invite any others who feel so moved to bring other sides or desserts. Here is where you can let us know what you'll be bringing: https://forms.gle/fSM84GAhhoz55YYL6

Hope to see you there! Just showing up to be together is the most important thing!
