April 1st through 30th 2026 Praying each day that all Cancer is cured! Although they have made great progress in detecting and treating Cancer, it is still prevalent here in Adams County. Each April since 2012 the Richard Rhoads 5K fundraiser has been physically held or held online. The funds you donate to this cause are used to purchase Gas Cards. We provide the gas cards to Adams County residents undergoing cancer treatment in order to help with the cost of transportation.
Please donate to the Go Fund Me online fundraiser during the month of April. Or stop into Shear Magic Salon, 800 Portsmouth Road Peebles, and donate cash or check made to RR5K. Thank you.

Thank you for your support this year on our online RR5K fundraising event.
Thankful to say we raised enough funds to by another 250+ gas cards for our Adams County Ohio friends. These cards help with transportation costs to and from appointments for Cancer related treatment.

Didn’t physically have the 5k this year. This year we had a Go Fund Me fundraiser on our page. With all of your donations and support we raised over $5200. We will purchase $20 gas cards and distribute them to people in Adams County Ohio that are going to and from Treatment, Doctors Appointments and Testing of Cancer Diagnosis.
