Women of War was created for women who have endured challenges, overcome obstacles, and continued moving forward despite life's battles.

This gathering is about faith, healing, prayer, empowerment, and strength.

We survived to help others break their silence.

💬 When you hear the phrase "Woman of War," what comes to mind?

Trauma affects everyone differently.

Some people openly express their struggles.
Others suffer silently.

PTSD can impact emotions, sleep, concentration, relationships, and overall quality of life.

The more we understand trauma, the better equipped we are to support those who are healing.

💬 What is one misconception you think people have about PTSD?

Men's health includes physical, emotional, and mental well-being.

Routine checkups, healthy habits, stress management, and mental health support all contribute to overall wellness.

Taking care of your health isn't weakness.
It's wisdom.

💬 What healthy habit has made a positive difference in your life?

This can make it more difficult to seek help and easier for unhealthy patterns to continue.

Understanding the warning signs can help protect ourselves and others.

💬 What are some ways communities can help people feel supported and connected?

💬 What healing topic would you like to hear discussed next?

Elder abuse is often called a hidden issue because many cases go unreported.

Older adults may remain silent due to fear, dependence on caregivers, isolation, or concerns about losing important relationships.

Awareness helps us recognize the warning signs and advocate for those who may not be able to advocate for themselves.

💜 Our Season Saints deserve protection, dignity, and respect.

💬 What is one way we can better support older adults in our communities?

Cancer survivorship is about more than physical recovery.

Many survivors continue navigating emotional healing, mental health challenges, financial stress, and adjusting to a new normal after treatment.

Survivorship is a journey, not just a destination.

Today, we honor those who continue moving forward one day at a time.

💬 What message of encouragement would you share with a cancer survivor?

Avoiding pain does not make it disappear.

Unaddressed hurt, unresolved trauma, suppressed emotions, and difficult conversations often find ways to surface later in our lives.

Healing begins when we acknowledge what needs attention and allow ourselves the space to process it.

Growth requires honesty.
